**2009 Subaru Forester 5-Speed AWD 111,*** Miles The Good Kind of Weird** If you know Subarus, you know what this is: an old-school, 5-speed, AWD Forester that absolutely **does not care what the weather is doing.** Snow? Ice? Mud? Gravel? She just goes. 111,*** miles, 5-speed manual, AWD, roof rack, and Rally Armor mud flaps. Mechanically, this thing has been a tank and has been incredibly dependable for me. It has been one of those cars I could just hop in and drive without thinking twice. Cosmetically, she's a 2009 Subaru that has lived an actual life. A few dents here and there, plus a handful of very small rust spots, but **nothing major and no nasty rust issues.** The sunroof has had a crack since I bought it. I've always said I'd fix it if it ever leaked...and it still hasn't leaked, so apparently we're conducting a long-term engineering experiment. The stereo has developed the classic Subaru/electrical gremlin where it randomly shorts out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it apparently has other plans. One tire currently has Fix-a-Flat in it and should be properly repaired or replaced. It holds air, and honestly I don't even notice anything until around 70 mph. Other than those quirks, this thing has been an absolute beast and a ton of fun to own. It's the kind of old Subaru that makes you understand why people get weirdly attached to these cars. **Why am I selling it?** Because I need to make room for something that can tow a trailer. Otherwise, I'd probably keep driving this thing until the wheels literally fall off. If you're looking for a pristine 2009 Forester, this isn't it. If you're looking for a **well-loved, honest, 5-speed AWD Subaru that still has plenty of life left and is ridiculously good in the snow**, this might be your kind of car. Come drive it. You'll probably understand.
