LEGENDARY, TRACK-BRED, 6-SPEED MANUAL, ONE-OWNER, NO-ACCIDENT, NONSMOKER, THE ULTIMATE HOT HATCH! The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is the most powerful car Honda had ever sold in the United States when it arrived, and it may be the purest driver's car available at any price near its sticker. Honda's engineers set out to build the finest front-wheel-drive performance car in the world. Record-setting laps at the Nurburgring and Suzuka suggest they succeeded. This example is finished in the model's signature Boost Blue Pearl, a vivid color created specifically for this generation of Type R. Inside, it pairs with the iconic red and black suede-effect sport seats and red carpeting, a cockpit that feels special every time you open the door. A 315-horsepower turbocharged engine, a slick 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching, and a race-developed chassis make every drive an event. With the odometer hovering around the 14,400-mile mark, this Type R is a ONE-OWNER, NO-ACCIDENT example with remaining factory powertrain warranty coverage. For enthusiasts who have been waiting for the right one, this is a genuinely compelling opportunity. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The Type R name carries enormous weight among driving enthusiasts. For decades, it has represented Honda's most focused, track-capable performance models, built by engineers obsessed with precision, balance, and driver engagement. This sixth-generation Civic Type R continues that legacy with more power, sharper handling, and a more refined, mature design than any Type R before it. What sets the Type R apart is how complete it is. It is a genuine track weapon, yet it rides comfortably enough to drive every day. It seats four adults, and its hatchback body swallows luggage, groceries, or a set of spare wheels for a track day. Few performance cars deliver this much excitement with this much everyday usability. The 6-speed manual transmission is another major reason enthusiasts seek it out. As manual transmissions disappear from the market, the Type R's precise, short-throw shifter and perfectly weighted clutch have become increasingly rare and treasured. Honda has also built a reputation for strong reliability and resale value, which makes the Type R a smart purchase as well as an emotional one. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION The 2023 Civic Type R earned near-universal acclaim from automotive journalists, many of whom called it one of the best-handling front-wheel-drive cars ever built. Reviewers praised its phenomenal chassis balance, precise steering, remarkable grip, and the crisp, satisfying action of its manual shifter. Critics also noted its surprisingly composed ride and more grown-up styling. The Civic lineup, including the all-new Type R, was named to Car and Driver's 2023 10BEST CARS list, and Motor Authority selected the Type R as its 2023 BEST CAR TO BUY. Honda also backed up its engineering claims on the track: the Type R set a new front-wheel-drive lap record at Germany's legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife, and another at Japan's Suzuka Circuit, home of the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. WARRANTY The odometer currently reads 14,439 miles. This Type R is STILL COVERED by its transferable Honda factory powertrain warranty! Remaining Transferable Factory Coverage: Powertrain Limited Warranty: through September 11, 2028, or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
