2024 Dodge Hornet GT Plus AWD 2.0L Turbo Leather Heated ; Ventilated Seats Harman KardonIf you're shopping compact SUVs but refuse to settle for something boring, this 2024 Dodge Hornet GT Plus AWD deserves your attention. Finished in Blue with a Black interior and showing just 28,128 miles, the Hornet combines a genuinely sporty personality with the practicality of an all-wheel-drive crossover. And this isn't the entry-level version. It's the GT PLUS, which is where the Hornet starts piling on the good stuff.Under the hood is the Hornet GT's 2.0L Hurricane4 turbocharged four-cylinder, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and ALL-WHEEL DRIVE. Dodge rates this powertrain at 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, so this little crossover has considerably more bite than its size suggests. It's quick, responsive and built for someone who wants their practical vehicle to still be entertaining when the road opens up.The GT Plus cabin is where things get especially good. You're getting LEATHER SEATING, HEATED AND VENTILATED FRONT SEATS, a HEATED STEERING WHEEL and DRIVER MEMORY, giving this compact SUV a surprisingly upscale feel. There's also REMOTE START, Keyless Enter 'n Go and Push-Button Start, exactly the sort of equipment you'll appreciate every single winter morning in the Midwest.Technology is another Hornet strong suit, with a 10.25-INCH UCONNECT 5 TOUCHSCREEN, NAVIGATION, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM and a HARMAN KARDON PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM. There's also a digital driver display, so the cockpit feels much newer and sportier than the traditional wall-of-buttons approach. You also get a strong collection of driver-assistance technology, including Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and a ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera. Add AWD to the equation and you've got a crossover designed to be fun without forgetting that it's probably going to spend plenty of time handling commuting, errands and Midwest weather. And visually, the Hornet has absolutely no interest in disappearing into crossover camouflage. The aggressive front end, sculpted bodywork, dark accents and athletic proportions give it some legitimate attitude, especially in Blue over Black. Dodge managed to make a compact SUV look like it would rather be hunting apexes than collecting grocery bags, even though it'll happily do both. This Hornet packs a ridiculous amount of personality and equipment into one
