OPEN-AIR, SPORTY, HEAD-TURNING, LOW-MILEAGE, NO-ACCIDENT, NONSMOKER, TOP DOWN AND SMILING! Some cars are built to get you there, and some are built to make the trip the point. The Saturn Sky was always the second kind, a sleek two-seat roadster with long-hood, short-deck proportions that stopped traffic when it arrived. This 2008 Saturn Sky convertible, finished in Polar White with a black soft top and showing just under 59,200 miles, brings that same head-turning attitude, and the mileage spread over its lifetime is remarkably gentle. Polar White is a crisp, bright white that shows off the Sky's sculpted fenders and side vents, and the black top gives it a sharp, tailored contrast. Add a no-accident history on CARFAX, the Premium Trim Package, a Monsoon premium audio system, and a rear spoiler, and this Sky is ready to be the fun car in your driveway. Why Shoppers Buy This Model The Sky was designed to deliver the roadster experience without the exotic price. Built on a rear-wheel-drive architecture and assembled in Wilmington, Delaware, it pairs dramatic styling with a low, planted stance and a cockpit that puts the driver right in the middle of the action. It is a car you buy for how it makes you feel on a sunny afternoon, whether that means a back-road cruise, a weekend shore run, or simply a quick errand with the top down. Just as important, the Sky is one of those cars that still stops people on the street. Its design has aged gracefully, and its two-seat layout, long hood, and wide stance give it a presence that plenty of newer, more expensive convertibles cannot match. For shoppers who want a weekend toy, a second car, or a first taste of open-air driving, the Sky is an easy car to fall for. Automotive Press and Industry Recognition Edmunds summed up the Saturn Sky as a viable alternative that delivers personality, comfort, and available turbocharged performance, and its list of strengths includes sharp styling, relatively low pricing, a spacious cockpit for the class, and a comfortable highway ride. Edmunds also noted that the compact design accommodates taller drivers better than expected and that the car is a magnet for attention wherever it goes. Consumer Guide rated the Sky's steering and handling among its highest strengths, describing it as affordable sports-car fun. Reviewers also point out the trade-offs that come with a small, sporty roadster: a compact trunk, a soft top that is operated manually, limited interior storage, and interior materials that favor style over luxury. For the right buyer, those are small prices to pay for a convertible with this much character. Warranty This Saturn Sky shows 59,190 miles on the odometer and is being offered without remaining factory coverage. Even so, the mileage tells a favorable story. Since it was first registered in April 2008, this Sky has averaged roughly 3,200 miles per year, an unusually light pace that is typical of a weekend roadster that was enjoyed rather than worked hard, and CARFAX reports no accidents. Buyers who want extra peace of mind can ask us about extended service plans. Standard Features The Sky is all about the driving experience, and its chassis is built to deliver it. Rear-wheel drive puts the power to the rear tires in the classic roadster layout, an independent suspension keeps the car composed through corners, and rack-and-pinion steering gives the Sky the quick, responsive feel that reviewers praise. Inside, manual air conditioning with simple rotary controls keeps the cabin comfortable, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel gives the driver a sporty, confident grip on the road. Installed Options This Sky was ordered with a handful of upgrades that make it more comfortable, better sounding, and better looking than a base example. Premium Trim Package Leather seat inserts Leather seating surfaces add a touch of luxury to the black interior and are more comfortable on long drives th>
