2008 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with only 78,000 original miles. One-owner, lifetime Virginia car with EXTENSIVE maintenance records, no accident history, and exceptional overall condition. 4.6L V8, rear-wheel drive, heated leather seats, front-seat side airbags, woodgrain trim, automatic climate control, keyless entry/keypad, dual power seats, fog lights, traction control, ABS, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Asking $11,995 OBO. This was my late mother Betty's car since new. She was a longtime Shenandoah County school bus driver, and her husband, Jerry Paul Miller, served for many years as Woodstock's police chief. They were well known locally for taking exceptional care of their vehicles. Jerry routinely traded his trucks about every 10 years, often with only around 50,000 miles, and buyers would sometimes ask dealerships to contact them when he traded one in. Betty cared for this Grand Marquis with that same mindset, and its extensive maintenance history reflects it. The car was consistently maintained over the years, including service through Muhlenberg Ford and later Hepner Tire in Woodstock. It has never been a fleet, taxi, or police vehicle, and its ownership history is known. It has been in the same family since new. The Grand Marquis shares Ford's durable Panther-platform architecture with the Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car and is known for its smooth ride, spacious interior, large trunk, and proven 4.6L V8. The interior and exterior have been remarkably well preserved for an 18-year-old car. To represent it honestly, there is age-related cracking/wear in the driver's seat leather and a small cosmetic paint imperfection on the hood. Clean, low-mileage, unmodified Panther-platform cars with known ownership and documented maintenance history are increasingly difficult to find. Located in Edinburg, Virginia. Serious inquiries welcome. Contact me with questions, for additional photos or maintenance information, or to arrange a time to see and drive it.
