NIMBLE, BALANCED, REAR-WHEEL DRIVE, NO-ACCIDENT, NONSMOKER, PURE DRIVING FUN IN ITS PUREST FORM! The 2017 Toyota 86 is a car built for one purpose above all else: making every drive more enjoyable. This no-accident example is finished in Steel over a Black fabric interior, and it is hovering around the 73,900-mile mark -- ready to deliver the kind of lightweight, rear-wheel-drive fun that has become increasingly rare in today's market. Its formula is beautifully simple: a low-mounted boxer engine, rear-wheel drive, a limited-slip differential, and a lightweight, perfectly balanced chassis. The result is a sports car that rewards drivers of every skill level, delivering crisp, communicative handling on a winding back road while remaining easy and affordable to live with every day. Why Shoppers Buy This Model The Toyota 86 was developed in partnership with Subaru to bring back the affordable, lightweight, rear-wheel-drive sports car, and it succeeded brilliantly. Rather than chasing big horsepower numbers, it focuses on balance, steering feel, and driver engagement -- qualities that make it one of the most rewarding cars to drive at any price. Shoppers also appreciate how practical the 86 is for a sports car. Its comfortable ride, reasonable fuel economy, rear seats for occasional passengers or extra storage, and a trunk large enough for a weekend getaway make it easy to use as a daily driver. For buyers comparing the Mazda MX-5 Miata, Ford Mustang EcoBoost, or Hyundai Veloster, the 86 stands out with its pure rear-wheel-drive balance and its devoted enthusiast following. Automotive Press and Industry Recognition The Toyota 86 and its twin, the Subaru BRZ, earned near-universal praise from the automotive press for their sharp, communicative handling, precise steering, and balanced, playful rear-wheel-drive chassis. Reviewers consistently describe the 86 as one of the most engaging and fun-to-drive affordable sports cars on the market, rewarding drivers at legal speeds rather than requiring triple-digit velocities to come alive. While some critics wish for more power, most agree that the 86's balance and driver involvement more than make up for it. Warranty With 73,941 miles on the odometer and an original in-service date of November 7, 2017, this 86 has completed the terms of its original Toyota factory warranties. At roughly 73,900 miles over nearly nine years of service, this 86 has averaged about 8,300 miles per year -- well below typical use for its age. Its history also shows recent dealer maintenance, including a transmission fluid service, brake fluid flush, four-wheel alignment, and a replaced rear wheel bearing. Extended service plans are available for buyers who want added peace of mind. Standard Features The 2017 model year brought meaningful updates to the 86, including revised styling with new LED headlights and a more aggressive front fascia, a retuned suspension, and an upgraded interior. Inside, the driver gets a leather-trimmed tilt/telescopic steering wheel with silver-colored stitching and audio controls, a multi-information display, and sport front bucket seats with Granlux suede-like accents. The 86 also includes a 7-inch touchscreen audio system with eight speakers, a backup camera, multi-function in-key remote keyless entry, and a Torsen limited-slip differential as standard equipment, making it a complete package for both daily driving and spirited weekend runs. Mechanical Features At the heart of the 86 is a 2.0-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder boxer engine producing 200 horsepower with the automatic transmission. Its low, flat design sits deep in the chassis, lowering the center of gravity for sharper, more balanced handling, and it loves to rev, delivering an engaging, high-revving character that rewards spirited driving. Power flows through a six-speed automatic transmission, which provides relaxed, easy driving in traffic while still del>
