EFFICIENT, DEPENDABLE, WELL-MAINTAINED, OFF-LEASE, NO-ACCIDENT, NONSMOKER, SMART SEDAN VALUE! The 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS in Harbor Gray Metallic is the midsize sedan that put rivals on notice with sculpted styling, a roomy cabin and a fuel-sipping 2.4L direct-injection engine that returns an EPA-estimated 24 MPG in the city and 35 on the highway. This one has been looked after. CARFAX shows a clean no-accident history, a start as a personal lease vehicle and 23 documented service records, and the odometer is hovering around the 128,700-mile mark after roughly 9,000 miles a year of use. Why Shoppers Buy This Model The Sonata earned its place on shopping lists by delivering more car than the price suggests. The cabin is spacious and well organized, the styling still looks fresh, and the ride strikes a comfortable balance for daily commuting and long weekend drives. Edmunds called the 2013 Sonata a top pick in a very competitive midsize field, and it is easy to see why: respectable acceleration from the four-cylinder engine, intuitive controls and highway fuel economy that keeps the cost of commuting down. Automotive Press and Industry Recognition Reviewers praised the 2013 Sonata for the way its flowing dashboard and precise controls gave the cabin a feel usually found in more expensive cars, and for a suspension tuned for comfort without losing confidence on the road. In safety testing, the Sonata earned the INSURANCE INSTITUTE FOR HIGHWAY SAFETY (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK designation for 2013. Warranty This Sonata shows 128,659 miles on the odometer. Original factory coverage has run its course, which makes the story here the care this car has received. CARFAX records oil and filter changes, brake service, coolant flushes and belt replacements at independent shops and dealerships over the years, and the mileage works out to under 10,000 miles a year. For a buyer who wants a dependable, economical sedan at a sensible price, that history matters more than a warranty sticker. Standard Features The GLS is the well-rounded core of the Sonata lineup, pairing the 198-horsepower 2.4L engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission that includes SHIFTRONIC manual control. Standard comforts include remote keyless entry with a security alarm, cruise control, a dual-tier center console with armrest and storage, and a rear 60/40 split-fold seat that makes carrying longer items easy. Hyundai also fitted Bluetooth hands-free calling with phonebook transfer, a 104-watt stereo with CD and MP3 playback, and iPod, USB and auxiliary inputs, so the cabin stays connected without any add-on equipment. Installed Options This Sonata was ordered with a popular comfort package plus a handy mirror upgrade.
