ELECTRIFYING, ADVENTURE-READY, THREE-ROW, NO-ACCIDENT, NONSMOKER, 835 HORSEPOWER OF PURE EXHILARATION! The 2024 Rivian R1S has redefined what an SUV can be, blending supercar acceleration, genuine off-road ability, and seating for seven in one strikingly modern package. This Adventure Quad-Motor example is finished in Rivian's rich Forest Green over the distinctive Ocean Coast interior, and it pairs the brand's most powerful Quad-Motor powertrain with the Large battery pack for a thrilling, go-anywhere ownership experience. Quad-Motor means exactly what it sounds like: a dedicated electric motor at each wheel. Rather than relying on mechanical differentials, the R1S can precisely control the power sent to every individual tire hundreds of times per second. That delivers extraordinary traction on snow, sand, mud, and rock, along with remarkably agile handling on pavement for a vehicle of this size. Why Shoppers Buy This Model The R1S has quickly become one of the most talked-about vehicles on the road, and for good reason. It offers something no other SUV quite matches: three rows of seating, blistering electric performance, serious off-road hardware, and a clean, instantly recognizable design that looks like nothing else in the parking lot. Owners also love the thoughtful, adventure-focused details, from the front trunk and generous cargo space to the over-the-air software updates that keep adding new features long after purchase. For families who want a genuinely capable, fun-to-drive electric SUV with room for everyone, the R1S has become the benchmark. Automotive Press and Industry Recognition Reviewers have praised the R1S for its astonishing acceleration, composed ride, legitimate off-road capability, and minimalist, high-quality interior, often calling it one of the most compelling electric vehicles on sale. The Quad-Motor version in particular earned acclaim for performance that rivals exotic sports cars. The most common critiques center on its steep price and a third row best suited to shorter trips. The R1S earned the IIHS 2023 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, and Rivian was named the most-loved brand in Consumer Reports' 2024 owner satisfaction survey. Warranty The odometer is hovering around the 37,105-mile mark, and this R1S is STILL COVERED by the factory. Comprehensive Limited Warranty -- Covers most vehicle components against defects in materials or workmanship. Expiration: 06/11/2029 or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Battery Pack and Drivetrain Limited Warranty -- Covers the high-voltage battery pack and the electric drive units. Expiration: 06/11/2032 or 175,000 miles, whichever comes first. Corrosion (Perforation Only) Limited Warranty -- Covers perforation of body panels. Expiration: 06/11/2032, regardless of mileage. Want to extend its warranty coverage? In most cases, we can provide expanded options to cover each vehicle with a valuable, comprehensive warranty for years to come! Standard Features For 2024, every R1S comes in Adventure specification, which means it arrives generously equipped for both family life and the trail. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and a premium Meridian audio system make daily driving comfortable, while a panoramic glass roof floods the cabin with natural light. Adventure specification also includes rugged hardware many rivals don't offer at all, such as an underbody shield to protect the battery and an onboard air compressor for airing tires back up after off-road driving. Paired with the Quad-Motor powertrain, adjustable air suspension, and 21'' Road wheels, it's a luxury SUV that's genuinely ready to leave the pavement behind. Installed Options Rooftop Bike Mount Carries bikes securely on the roof, keeping the cabin, cargo area, and hitch free for other gear on trips to the trailhead.
