More information at https://www.vintagemotorcarsusa.com/stock/2004-dodge-ram-srt-10- There are times when Detroit builds something so delightfully unhinged, so wonderfully defiant of physics and common sense, that it transcends being merely a vehicle and becomes pure automotive folklore. The 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Regular Cab is precisely that kind of legend and finding one preserved in this condition is nothing short of a time warp. Finished in a brilliant, arresting shade of red that practically begs for a second look, this muscle truck looks as aggressive today as it did terrorizing the streets in the mid-2000s. The exterior is sleekly complemented by tinted windows, hinting at the machine's brooding personality before you even peer inside. Swing open the door, and the cockpit wraps around you in a driver-focused embrace of black leather and tactile suede inserts fresh, crisp, and showing the kind of careful preservation that collectors dream of. Drop down into the driver's seat, look at the odometer, and the reality of this machine sets in: just 4,500 miles. This isn't a survivor that has lived a hard life; it is a pristine capsule of collector-grade history. Turn the key, and the earth-shaking rumble begins. Beneath that muscular hood sits the beating heart of a supercar: an 8.3-liter aluminum V10 straight out of the Dodge Viper. Fitted with aftermarket headers and a MagnaFlow exhaust system, that ten-cylinder symphony is amplified into a truly thunderous roar. With 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque ready to drop the hammer at a moment's notice, it transforms a pickup truck into an absolute missile. Best of all, power is routed through a heavy-duty Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission topped with a Hurst shifter, putting absolute mechanical control right in the palm of your hand. And when you aren't listening to the glorious exhaust note echoing off the pavement, you are enveloped by a professionally engineered, $7,500 premium sound system that delivers concert-hall clarity to match the brute force of the engine bay.
