At 167,210 miles, this vehicle has clearly lived a full life but that's part of what makes a Honda CR-V such a compelling high-mileage buy. This platform is well-documented for running reliably into the 200,000-mile range and beyond with proper maintenance. Buyers who understand Honda longevity know these miles don't carry the same weight they would on a lesser brand. Stock #DH521229 is priced to reflect its mileage honestly, so you're getting real value without overreaching on budget. ===== 2013 Honda CR-V Performance and Engine ===== ==== I-VTEC 2.4-Liter Four-Cylinder Power ==== Under the hood, this CR-V runs Honda's 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine with i-VTEC variable valve timing technology a powertrain that Honda refined over many years specifically for this application. Paired with a smooth 5-speed automatic transmission, it delivers a driving experience that balances responsive acceleration for city driving in Marietta and Cobb County traffic with relaxed, fuel-efficient highway cruising on I-75 or I-575. This is a front-wheel-drive (2WD) configuration, which keeps mechanical complexity lower and maintenance costs down compared to AWD variants a smart choice for drivers who prioritize reliability and economy in Georgia's mild climate. ===== Honda CR-V EX-L Features and Interior ===== ==== Premium EX-L Appointments ==== The EX-L trim was Honda's premium offering in the 2013 CR-V lineup, stepping up from the base and EX trims with genuine leather-trimmed seating, a power moonroof, heated front seats, and a rearview camera features that were considered upscale for a compact SUV at this price point. The interior also includes Honda's dual-zone automatic climate control, a touchscreen-based infotainment interface with Bluetooth connectivity, and Honda's versatile Magic Seat rear-seat system that allows the rear floor to fold completely flat for expanded cargo flexibility. The cabin is spacious enough for families and practical enough for everyday hauling. ===== Honda CR-V Reliability and Ownership ===== ==== What Owners and Experts Say About the 2013 CR-V ==== The third-generation Honda CR-V (2) has an outstanding reputation among owners and automotive analysts alike. Consumer Reports has consistently praised this generation for above-average reliability scores, particularly for its engine and transmission durability. The 2.4-liter K24 engine family used in this CR-V is one of Honda's most battle-tested powerplants widely regarded among mechanics as straightforward to maintain and highly resistant to catastrophic failure when given routine oil changes and basic upkeep. Common ownership concerns with this generation are minor: some owners report oil dilution issues in colder climates (less relevant here in Georgia), and the infotainment system shows its age by modern standards. Otherwise, the mechanical underpinnings of this CR-V are genuinely strong. At 167,000 miles, a well-maintained example is still well within its useful service life. A pre-purchase inspection by a trusted mechanic is always wise at this mileage, and Pristine Cars & Trucks>
