Original and only owner. Ordered in Spring 2015, picked it up at Cortese in the Rochester, NY area on June 2, 2015 with 000009 miles on it. All stock, all Sport, barebones, no A/C, no power anything - that's the way I wanted it and I've loved every moment since. Learned to drive on my father's 1980 CJ-5. In November of 1998 bought a '99 TJ Sport - trading that in early in 2002 was worst automobile decision of my life. Didn't finally rectify that until thirteen and a half years later when this Sunset Orange beauty came into my life. I'm 56 and have only had three daily drivers in my life. If I didn't live in America's salt-belt I'd probably only have had two. Your Wrangler has been getting Krown treatment each November since it was a young lad. Does that prevent all rust? NO! Of course not - up here, it's not possible. But have those treatments staved off that life threatening rot that every Western New York vehicle, going-on-12, has if it's NOT treated?! Yes. Why am I moving on? I've had two major left foot surgeries with another on the horizon. I can still work the clutch but know I'm putting my mobility in jeopardy long term. Heartbreaking for me - but it's time to move on. I've logged every single fill up. The Jeep has NEVER been smoked in. When I picked it up from the dealer I arrived at my brother's with 000019 miles and we took off the stock wheels and tires and put on a set of used 5-Hole Sahara wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac - not long after I had the pinion gear changed to accurate reflect mileage and MPH for those 18" wheels. The current tires barely have 8000 miles on them and are only the THIRD set. Needless to say, I've babied him. We've never been off-road. Did I want to? YES. Just never happened. Got my fix in my brother's '84 CJ-7. The brakes have a lot of life left. Did I ever get 'the tick'? Yes. Just recently - had all the lifters/rockers changed - they told me the camshafts have lots of life left! Thanks :)
