Stop by, take it for a spin, and see why this generation of Kia's midsize sedan has turned so many heads and converted so many loyal Toyota Camry and Honda Accord shoppers along the way. ===== About This 2022 Kia K5 LXS ===== This 2022 Kia K5 carries 103,716 miles a figure that tells you this car has been driven, but doesn't tell the whole story. The K5 is built on Kia's N3 platform with long-term ownership in mind, and at this mileage, a well-maintained example still has a significant amount of reliable life ahead of it. The K5 replaced the outgoing Optima in 2021 with a dramatically sportier design, a stiffer chassis, and meaningful tech upgrades. In LXS trim, buyers get a well-appointed entry point into the K5 lineup without sacrificing the things that matter most behind the wheel. See the current asking price directly on this page it's competitively priced for the Riverside market. ===== 2022 Kia K5 Performance and Engine ===== ==== Turbocharged Power for Everyday Driving ==== Under the hood sits Kia's 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4, producing 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission, this setup delivers a driving experience that genuinely surprises people expecting a dull commuter sedan. Torque comes in early thanks to the turbocharger, meaning confident merging on the 91 Freeway or the 215, responsive acceleration in stop-and-go traffic on the 60, and enough grunt for weekend drives out to the mountain passes east of Riverside. The front-wheel-drive layout keeps handling predictable and the fuel economy figures respectable for a car with this much personality. ===== Kia K5 Features and Interior ===== ==== What the LXS Trim Brings to the Table ==== The K5 LXS is the foundational trim in the K5 lineup, but Kia equips it generously. Buyers can expect an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a multi-function steering wheel, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, and rear parking sensors features that previously lived only in higher trims on competing vehicles. The interior design is a genuine step up from the Optima era, with a driver-focused cockpit layout, quality soft-touch materials on contact points, and more rear legroom than the exterior proportions suggest. The fastback-inspired roofline gives the K5 its head-turning silhouette without meaningfully cutting into rear headroom for most passengers. ===== Kia K5 Reliability and Ownership ===== ==== What Owners and Industry Data Say ==== The 2022 Kia K5 earned strong reliability marks from J.D. Power and consumer ownership surveys alike. The 1.6T engine used in the LXS trim has a solid track record across multiple Kia and Hyundai platforms, and when serviced at recommended intervals, owners commonly report trouble-free ownership well past 100,000 miles. Kia's 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty applied to the original owner, and as a used buyer you'll want to confirm what remaining coverage transfers but the mechanical reputation of this engine is genuinely reassuring. Routine maintenance costs for the K5 are competitive with the segment, and parts availability throughout the greater Inland Empire is strong. ===== Why Buy From ALSBOU MOTORS - RIVERSIDE in Riverside, CA ===== ALSBOU MOTORS - RIVERSIDE is located right here in Riverside, in the heart of Riverside County making it a convenient stop for buyer>
