The 2019 Acura RDX A-Spec brings together sharp styling, strong turbocharged performance, and the comfort and technology that make it an easy luxury SUV to live with every day. This is the sportier A-Spec version of the RDX, giving it a noticeably more aggressive look inside and out without giving up the practicality that makes the RDX such a popular choice. Power comes from Acura s 2.0-liter VTEC Turbo four-cylinder producing 272 horsepower, paired with a quick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. This particular RDX is the front-wheel-drive A-Spec configuration. It has plenty of power for merging onto I-80, getting around Sacramento traffic, or heading out on a longer road trip, while the Integrated Dynamics System lets you tailor the driving feel to suit the road and your mood. The A-Spec package gives this RDX considerably more personality than the standard model. It adds exclusive 20-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels, dark exterior trim, unique front and rear fascias, gloss-black accents, larger dual exhaust finishers, LED fog lights, and A-Spec badging. The result is a premium crossover that has a sporty, planted appearance without looking overdone. Inside, the A-Spec treatment continues with exclusive leather-trimmed sport seats with Ultrasuede inserts, contrast stitching, aluminum accents, and A-Spec details throughout the cabin. Both front seats are heated and ventilated, making a real difference during Sacramento summers and colder winter mornings. The ultra-wide panoramic moonroof opens up the cabin, while dual-zone automatic climate control, driver memory, Smart Entry, push-button start, and a programmable power tailgate make everyday use simple and comfortable. Technology is another strong point. The RDX features Acura s 10.2-inch HD display with True Touchpad Interface, Apple CarPlay compatibility, navigation, Bluetooth, and the excellent 16-speaker Acura/ELS Studio 3D premium audio system. Front and rear parking sensors, a multi-angle backup camera, blind-spot information, and rear cross-traffic monitoring add useful assistance when parking or dealing with busy traffic. AcuraWatch driver-assistance technology adds another layer of confidence with features including adaptive cruise control, collision-mitigation braking, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. Jewel Eye LED headlights, automatic high beams, and LED daytime running lights round out a very complete equipment list. For someone who wants a premium SUV that is comfortable enough for the daily commute, roomy enough for passengers and weekend plans, and still enjoyable when the road opens up, the RDX A-Spec is a very well-rounded choice. The A-Spec styling, turbocharged performance, panoramic roof, ventilated seats, premium audio, and extensive technology package give this one the right mix of luxury and sport without moving into a much larger SUV.
