SPORTY, LUXURIOUS, ALL-WHEEL DRIVE, ONE-OWNER, LOCALLY OWNED, NONSMOKER, LOADED WITH NAVIGATION AND A PANORAMIC MOONROOF! BMW built the X3 for people who want a compact luxury SUV that still feels like a BMW from behind the wheel, and this 2016 xDrive28i delivers exactly that. This Black Sapphire Metallic example pairs a deep, rich exterior with a Beige and Black SensaTec interior and a Burl Walnut trim, and it arrives as a one-owner, locally owned X3 with a very well-documented service history. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and it reaches all four wheels through BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The payoff is lively acceleration, sharp handling, and the extra traction that makes a luxury crossover feel confident on wet roads, snowy mornings, and winding back roads. Just as important, this X3 was ordered with the options that matter most, including a navigation system, a panoramic moonroof, heated front seats, and the Driving Assistance Package with a rear-view camera and park distance control, so the daily drive feels as upscale as the badge suggests. Why Shoppers Buy This Model The X3 stands out in the compact luxury SUV class because it keeps the driving character BMW is known for. Steering is precise, the chassis is composed, and the turbocharged engine feels livelier than its size suggests, which is why X3 owners tend to describe it as the SUV for people who still love to drive. It also does the practical things well, with a roomy cabin, a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat, and a power tailgate that makes loading easy. Shoppers usually cross-shop it with the Audi Q5, the Mercedes-Benz GLC, the Lexus RX, and the Volvo XC60, and the X3 tends to stand out for its sharp handling, its upscale cabin, and its all-weather xDrive confidence. It is a luxury SUV for buyers who would rather feel connected to the road than isolated from it. Automotive Press and Industry Recognition Reviewers have praised the X3 for combining strong performance and good fuel economy with responsive handling. Edmunds' editors highlighted the strong performance and fuel economy available from any of its engines, the responsive handling that only pricier sport-tuned rivals can better, the high-quality cabin, and the generous passenger and cargo room for the segment. That balance of sporty driving and everyday usefulness is a big part of why the X3 became one of BMW's best-selling models. Warranty This X3 shows 88,658 miles on the odometer, a figure that works out to light, steady use of roughly 8,400 miles per year over its ten-plus years on the road. Service records add to the confidence, with 13 service history records reported, including regular oil and filter changes and maintenance inspections at BMW dealerships, brake pads, rotors, and wheel bearings replaced in December 2022, front struts and shock absorbers replaced in April 2025, and new tires with an alignment and an oil cooler seal replacement in January 2026. Extended service plans may be available for buyers who want added peace of mind. Standard Features The xDrive28i is the all-wheel-drive version of the X3's turbocharged four-cylinder, and it pairs BMW's driving character with a long list of standard comfort and safety equipment. Servotronic speed-sensitive power steering, a sport leather multifunction steering wheel, an automatic start/stop function with brake energy regeneration, a tire pressure monitor, and run-flat tires make this X3 as practical as it is sporty. Inside, power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, and a universal garage-door opener add everyday convenience, while a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat, a storage package, and roof rails in satin aluminum give the X3 genuine versatility. It is a trim for the buyer who wants the BMW driving experience with all-wheel-drive confidence. Installed Options T>
