2019 was the last year VW imported the Alltrack to the US. This one was driven by the wife of a car enthusiast, which means it was well-maintained but she wouldn't let me modify it. Recent service this summer includes a new turbo to address a sticking waste gate that would put the car into limp mode. If you are looking at any VW with the a turbo motor, ask if this has been done. All the transmission and differential fluids were changed, and the brake discs and pads were replaced at the same time. Garage kept VT car. The exterior is a 8/10, with minor scratches consistent with age and some bubbling in the paint under some of the door handles. Interior is a 9/10. The light interior is rare, looks great with the blue exterior, and cleans up to near showroom condition. There is some wear under the pedals where the mats do not cover the carpet. Has VW's infotainment system with CarPlay, whatever Android uses, and a backup camera. Comes with VW's rubber, water-trapping winter mats, a set of carpeted summer mats, and the big cargo area cover mat with the car-go system still in the plastic bag b/c we never used it (same with the first aid kit). Stock wheels are mounted with Cooper Endeavor "all season" summer tires, which are a good fit for this car. The wheels have some corrosion damage to the finish from road salt. For winter, the car comes with a set of studded Nokian winter tires mounted on 6th Gen GTI "Chicago" style wheels (aka "salami slicers") that were pretty beat up when purchased to be used as winter rims. They look great with a coat of grime on them. The traction with the AWD system is excellent. In the one pic that shows the wheels, the car is heading down a steepish driveway covered in solid ice with no drama. Overall a great car. Fun to drive with the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters making it easy to downshift in the snow or just to drop a gear for passing. We just need a bigger rig right now or we'd be keeping it.
