This car would be a good first car, though not recommended if you live in an area that requires an emissions test as the check engine light has been very persistent since 2022 or 2023. I routinely check it and it's always the EVAP system. So far, I have had no issues because of this besides it being there. Oil changes have been kept up with. Sway bar links and front wheel hub bearings were replaced a month ago. It has brand new tires, battery, and radiator fan. The breaks were fully replaced a year and a half ago. Recalls were taken care of at a dealership where the serpentine belt was also replaced; they also checked for leaks and found none. The fuel pump was replaced in 2024. AC line was replaced in 2022. Bluetooth and voice to call works, though the answer button is sticky. Cruise control and CD player work. There are many scratches and a couple of cracks which were present at the time of purchase in 2022. The back passenger door doesn't open from the outside, and currently doesn't open from the inside due to the child lock being mistakenly turned on. There is wear on the carpets and seats as well as various stains and a couple of holes all there at the time I purchased it in 2022 except for a large soda stain on the front passenger seat. I keep the interior light turned off because the car thinks that both the front and back passenger doors are open; I do not know why it thinks the back one is open, but for the front it is because the rubber stopper that pushes the sensor is missing. The rear defrost doesn't work and the button that is for the combination of heater and defrost is stubborn but does eventually work. All other buttons including the front defrost work. The bottom front grill fell off, I do still have it but I doubt it will actually go back on. As you can see in the photos, the front driver side mirror came off, but is holding on well with the tape. The fuel door latch is broken so the door doesn't close.
