TRAIL-READY, UPGRADED, LOW-MILEAGE, NO-ACCIDENT, NONSMOKER, OPEN-AIR ADVENTURE AWAITS! There is nothing else on the road quite like a Jeep Wrangler, and this 2012 Wrangler Sport proves it the moment you see it: black paint, a black soft top, black wheels, and tall off-road tires that announce adventure before the engine even starts. It has been a New Jersey Jeep from the day it was delivered, it carries a clean CARFAX accident and damage record, and it has covered just over 59,400 miles, which works out to only about 4,200 miles a year. Under the hood is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, the engine that transformed the Wrangler for 2012 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and Command-Trac part-time four-wheel drive. That combination gives this Jeep comfortable highway manners and the traction to take on snow, sand, and trail without any drama. Just as important, this Wrangler has been personalized in ways that matter. Black 17-inch wheels, 33-inch off-road tires, tubular side steps, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo make it far more than a stock Sport, and they are ready to enjoy from the first test drive. Why Shoppers Buy This Model The Wrangler is one of very few vehicles still built around a rugged body-on-frame chassis and solid front and rear axles, with removable doors, a fold-down windshield, and a top that comes off when the weather cooperates. Owners love how it drives like nothing else, how easy it is to repair and modify, and how many trails, beaches, and snowy back roads it can reach that other SUVs cannot. Shoppers usually weigh it against the Toyota 4Runner, the Toyota FJ Cruiser, the Nissan Xterra, and the newer Ford Bronco, and the Wrangler wins them over with its open-air experience, its legendary trail capability, and a catalog of wheels, bumpers, lifts, and accessories that no rival can match. It is a vehicle people keep for years, which is why a clean, well-kept example is so easy to appreciate. Automotive Press and Industry Recognition The 2012 model year was a turning point for the Wrangler, and the press noticed. Kelley Blue Book's experts called the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 ''the final piece in the Jeep Wrangler puzzle,'' praised the Wrangler's off-road prowess, and pointed out that its simple body-on-frame construction, with removable doors and replaceable fenders, appeals to buyers who want durability and easy repairs. MotorWeek's road test recorded a 0-60 mph time of 7.8 seconds, about two seconds quicker than a comparable Wrangler with the old 3.8-liter V6, and noted that the new five-speed automatic transmission brought a lower first gear and better shift quality. Their verdict was that the Wrangler remains the superior choice for off-road adventures, with excellent value and capability. Warranty This Wrangler shows 59,413 miles on the odometer, and its original factory warranty coverage has expired. That mileage is low for a vehicle of this age, averaging only about 4,200 miles a year since 2012. CARFAX shows twelve service records, including regular maintenance at Jeep dealerships in its first two years, a thrust-angle alignment, a dealership maintenance inspection with engine and powertrain-computer checks in 2021, and an oil and filter change in 2022, along with a passed New Jersey emissions inspection in June 2026. It was also previously sold as a Jeep Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in early 2014. Extended service plans may be available for buyers who want added peace of mind. Standard Features The Wrangler Sport is the purist's Wrangler. It skips the luxury extras and puts its strength where it counts: the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, Command-Trac part-time four-wheel drive, a simple, durable cloth interior, and a soft top that turns this Jeep into an open-air machine whenever the weather is right. Everyday essentials are covered too, including air conditioning, cruise con>
