Carfax datareports suggest 40% of vehicles on the road have sustained damage at somepoint, that equates to about 110 million cars in the U.S. If you are looking for a quality used car there is no need to be immediately deterred if damage is reported on the Carfax vehicle history report. Damage reported on a CarFax vehicle history report does not necessarily mean the vehicle was in an accident. Read the report thoroughly, often the "damage" reported is very minor and not the result of an accident.
