If you're hunting for a capable, fully loaded full-size truck in the Atlanta metro area, this 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Crew Cab AT4 for sale at Pristine Cars & Trucks in Marietta, Georgia deserves a serious look. Equipped with GMC's legendary 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, true 4WD, and the rugged AT4 trim package, this is a truck built for buyers who demand both off-road capability and premium comfort and it's available right here in Cobb County. ===== About This 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Crew Cab AT4 ===== The Sierra 1500 Limited designation means this unit was produced as GM extended the outgoing generation into the new model year, carrying over the full suite of proven hardware and technology that made the fifth-generation Sierra so popular. At 168,456 miles, this truck has clearly been put to work and that's not a bad thing. The 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 is an engine with a well-documented reputation for longevity, regularly reaching 200,000-plus miles with proper maintenance. Buyers shopping high-mileage trucks should look for service history and inspect the 10-speed transmission fluid condition, but mechanically, this platform is one of the most robust in the segment. The Crew Cab body style means four real doors and generous rear-seat space, and the 5 3/4-foot bed strikes the right balance between cargo capacity and daily maneuverability. ===== 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Performance and Engine ===== ==== 6.2-Liter EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management ==== The heart of this truck is GMC's 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 paired with Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM). This isn't just a big displacement engine for show DFM actively manages all eight cylinders, cycling between multiple displacement modes in real time to optimize fuel efficiency without sacrificing power when you need it. The result is a V8 that feels effortless at highway speeds, confident when towing, and surprisingly reasonable at the pump for its class. Backed by a 10-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, power delivery is smooth and well-calibrated whether you're merging onto I-75, hauling a trailer up into the North Georgia mountains, or crawling over uneven terrain in 4WD. The 4WD drivetrain on the AT4 trim is purpose-built for more than light duty it pairs with an available off-road suspension tune and underbody protection to give this truck genuine capability beyond the pavement. ===== GMC Sierra AT4 Features and Interior ===== ==== What the AT4 Trim Brings to the Table ==== The AT4 sits above the SLT in GMC's lineup and targets buyers who want premium interior refinement alongside legitimate off-road credibility. Standard AT4 equipment on this generation includes a factory-lifted suspension, skid plates for underbody protection, front recovery hooks, and exclusive AT4 badging and trim. Inside, expect heated front seats, a leather-appointed interior, a large infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a premium audio system, and a full suite of driver assistance features including forward collision alert, lane keep assist, and rear camera. The Crew Cab configuration adds to the livability factor rear passengers get meaningful legroom that makes this truck genuinely comfortable for five adults on long drives, not just short hauls. ===== GMC Sierra Reliability and Ownership ===== The fifth-generation GMC Sierra and its Chevy Silverado twin have earned strong marks from owners for powertrain durability, particularly in trucks equipped with the 6.2-liter V8. The EcoTec3 engine family uses an aluminum block design with direct injection and variable valve timing a modern architecture that holds up well over time. The 10-speed transmission, co-developed with Ford, had some early tuning criticism but has largely been resolved in later production years. At this mileage, a prospective buyer should budget>
