The underlying technology reconciles comfort and dynamism to perfection and allows you to sample wonderful roadholding and outstanding quality. The R107/C107 SL-Class, the successor to the classic Pagoda W113 SL, proved so popular the company produced it from 1971 to 1989, one of Mercedes-Benz s longest-running single series. Rather than attempt to meet the race-bred performance and looks of the original 300 SL, Mercedes focused more on a grand touring, personal luxury car feel for their new SL. Over its production run, the car received a series of ever-larger V8s along with a series of Inline-6s. Any R107 is an exceptional machine, with a long list of amenities and remarkable performance. Unsurprisingly, the R107 was an instant hit and featured in numerous television and film series, often as an indication of success. The 560 SL, made from 1986 to 1989, was the final and most refined version of the R107 chassis. Able to complete a 0-60 mph sprint in 7.5 seconds and attain a top speed of 130mph, the 560 SL is typically the most desirable R107 variant. With a smooth, quiet ride and a luxuriously equipped interior featuring amply proportioned leather bucket seats and automatic climate control as standard, the 560 SL further rewards its driver with safe, predictable handling. Recently, values of extremely well-kept R107 SLs have dramatically increased in value, with low-mileage examples naturally attracting the most interest. The magnificent 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Roadster featured here is finished in gorgeous Light Ivory over an impeccably kept Brazil Brown leather interior with a matching folding convertible top and a body-color removable hardtop. This exquisite, investment-grade, final-year example of one of Mercedes-Benz's most desirable models has been meticulously maintained and driven a mere 16,514 miles from new. I personally believe the investment potential of this iconic model will grow beyond your imagination. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own the very best at an investment price!
