The final series of naturally aspirated standard 911s, the 991 introduced a new platform offering increased stability and structural rigidity over its predecessor along with distintive new styling. As had been the case from the transition from the 996 to the 997, the 991 s interior was once again dramatically updated with an even greater focus on luxury. Of course, performance was improved as well, with updated suspension tuning and improved motors. For 2016, Porsche announced a series of intensive updates to the car in the name of imporiving efficiency and performance. Most notably, the old 3.8L Flat-6 was replaced with a new twin-turbocharged 3.0L Flat-6. Horsepower and torque were both increased for the GTS, 450hp and 405lb-ft. of torque, with the latter being available much sooner and for longer in the powerband. Exterior styling and interior amenities were refined, while rear-axle steering enhanced low-speed agility and high-speed stability. With production of the 991-generation 911 culminating in 2019 in favor of the new, far more digital 992, the 991 offers modern convenience with enthusiast-oriented charm. The investment-grade 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe featured here is finished in its highly desirable factory all-Black color combination of stunning gloss Black over an impeccably kept Black leather interior. This one owner California car has been meticulously maintained and driven a mere 25,419 miles from new. I personally believe the investment potential of these 991 generation 911s will grow beyond imagination as they are future classics they are the last of the full analog gauge cluster and are the last true driver's 911. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates this true driver's Porsche!
