====== ?? 718 CAYMAN MID-ENGINE PRECISION PURE PORSCHE ?? ====== Turbocharged performance, remarkable chassis balance, and one of the most rewarding driving experiences Porsche has ever engineered. The 718 Cayman proves that driving enjoyment isn't measured by horsepower alone. *2017 Porsche 718 Cayman | 2.0L Turbocharged Mid-Engine Rear-Wheel Drive* ---------------------------------------- There's a reason driving enthusiasts speak about the Porsche Cayman with such admiration. *Balance.* Not just horsepower. Not just acceleration. Not just the badge on the hood. The *2017 Porsche 718 Cayman* is built around something much more rewarding: the relationship between the driver, the chassis, and the road. With its engine mounted directly behind the seats and ahead of the rear axle, the 718 Cayman delivers the kind of natural handling balance that makes even an ordinary winding road feel extraordinary. And for 2017, Porsche introduced an entirely new turbocharged engine that gave the Cayman something its predecessors never had quite so much of: *Torque. Lots of it.* The result is a compact, beautifully proportioned sports coupe that feels eager, precise, and genuinely alive. This isn't a Porsche you buy simply to admire in the driveway. *It's a Porsche you buy because you love driving.* ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Turbocharged Porsche Performance ===== *2.0L turbocharged flat-four engine* Approximately *300 horsepower* *280 lb-ft of torque* Mid-engine configuration Rear-wheel drive Porsche-engineered sport suspension Precise, responsive steering Four-wheel performance disc brakes Low center of gravity Exceptional chassis balance The 718 Cayman's turbocharged engine delivers a strong wave of torque that makes the car feel wonderfully responsive in everyday driving. But the real magic happens in the corners. With the engine positioned near the center of the car, the Cayman changes direction with remarkable precision. It doesn't simply go around corners. *It makes you look forward to them.* ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Driver-Focused Porsche Interior ===== Traditional Porsche sports-car cockpit Supportive sport seating Signature Porsche instrumentation Center-mounted tachometer Low, purposeful driving position Automatic climate control High-quality interior materials Ergonomic center console Two-seat sports-car configuration Everything inside the Cayman is arranged around the person behind the wheel. The seating position is low. The controls are close. The steering wheel feels perfectly placed. And the cabin wraps around you in a way that reminds you this vehicle was engineered to be driven not merely transported. ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Porsche Technology & Everyday Comfort ===== Porsche Communication Management infotainment Central touchscreen interface Bluetooth connectivity Multifunction driver information display Electronic parking brake Power convenience features Front and rear luggage compartments Everyday sports-car usability One of the Cayman's most underrated qualities is how practical it can be. Because the engine sits in the middle, you get luggage storage at both ends of the car. That means a weekend getaway doesn't automatically require leaving everything behind. It's a genuinely usable sports car. And that's part of what makes it so appealing. ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Timeless 718 Coupe >
