====== ?? 911 CARRERA COUPE FLAT-SIX CLASSIC PORSCHE ?? ====== The timeless 911 silhouette, naturally aspirated flat-six performance, and the unmistakable driving character of the 996 generation all wrapped in a proper Porsche sports coupe. *2004 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe | Tiptronic Automatic* ---------------------------------------- There's something special about a Porsche 911 that doesn't need to explain itself. The *2004 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe* comes from an era when sports cars were smaller, more mechanical, and far less interested in overwhelming the driver with technology. Underneath that iconic silhouette sits a *naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six*, mounted behind the rear axle exactly where Porsche tradition demands. Power goes to the rear wheels, the steering is beautifully communicative, and the entire car feels engineered around the experience of driving. This example pairs that classic 911 character with Porsche's *Tiptronic automatic transmission*, making it an especially approachable way to enjoy a genuine Porsche sports car. No complicated formula. *Just a proper 911, ready to be enjoyed.* ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Naturally Aspirated Porsche Performance ===== *3.6L naturally aspirated flat-six engine* Approximately *320 horsepower* Porsche Tiptronic S automatic transmission Rear-wheel drive Rear-engine 911 architecture Hydraulic power steering Porsche-tuned suspension Four-wheel performance disc brakes The beauty of this generation isn't simply its horsepower. It's the mechanical connection. The steering communicates, the flat-six responds naturally, and the compact chassis reminds you why Porsche spent decades perfecting this unusual rear-engine layout. ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Classic Porsche Interior & Comfort ===== Traditional Porsche driver-focused cockpit Signature five-gauge instrumentation Center-mounted tachometer Supportive Porsche front seating Automatic climate control Power convenience features Compact rear seating Classic 911 driving position This is a cockpit from a different era. The controls are physical, the gauges are analog, and the most important instrument sits directly in front of the driver. *The tachometer not a touchscreen is the centerpiece.* ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Analog-Era Technology & Usability ===== Porsche Tiptronic automatic with manual shift capability Traditional Porsche instrumentation Automatic climate control Power windows and mirrors Cruise control Front luggage compartment Everyday sports-car practicality The automatic transmission makes this Carrera particularly easy to enjoy. You can cruise comfortably through traffic, take it out for dinner, or enjoy a weekend drive without sacrificing the unmistakable experience of a rear-engine Porsche. ---------------------------------------- ===== ?? Timeless 996 Coupe Design ===== Classic *996-generation 911 Coupe* Iconic sloping Porsche roofline Distinctive integrated headlight design Low, aerodynamic proportions Muscular rear fenders Active rear spoiler Clean, purposeful sports-car styling Fixed-roof coupe architecture The 996 occupies an important place in Porsche history. It introduced the water-cooled era of the 911, bringing meaningful improvements in performance, comfort, and everyday usability while retaining the fundamental character that made the model legendary. Today, its compact proportions and distinctive styling give it an identity all its own.
