Hybrid Gas/Electric

We've owned and loved this Escape for years and maintained it carefully, with detailed service records available. It still starts, runs, and drives, but we've reached the point where professional repairs cost more than makes sense for our family at this time. **The good:** - Clean title, AWD, ~206k miles - CVT transmission works great - A/C works well, even in Phoenix summers - Power windows, locks, and stereo all work - Two tires and 12V battery replaced about a year ago, both still under Costco warranty - Meticulous maintenance records **Known mechanical issues:** - Oil leak: Drips oil beneath the engine. - Fuel leak: Gasoline smell when parked in our garage. Mechanic indicated a likely fuel pump-related repair. - Hybrid battery: In hot weather, the high-voltage battery sometimes becomes too depleted to start normally. We've been able to start it using the factory HV battery jump-start button under the dash. Has no problems starting in cooler weather. - Front brakes: Mechanic recommended replacing pads and rotors. - Front CV axle: Mechanic recommended replacing the axle assembly. **Cosmetic/interior condition:** - Hail dents on roof and hood - Two holes in front bumper from a parking sign - Clean interior, but driver's seat leather is torn with exposed foam - Aftermarket DVD-player headrests (both players no longer work) Buyer is welcome to inspect the vehicle and review maintenance records. **Sold as-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer responsible for determining necessary repairs.**
