Fun, powerful, and practical 2012 Subaru Forester with a 2.5L 224 HP turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and fully loaded Touring trim. I bought this car a little over a year ago from the first owner, who took great care of the car. My wife and I moved to Boston in January last year. While we were first exploring the area, we felt really restricted by having to rent a car every time, so eventually, in September 2025, we bought this car. What we noticed though that we'd already seen most of what we wanted to see in the area, and we basically only use the car to go grocery shopping once a week. Sadly, we don't think we can justify owning a car anymore with that little usage. Since buying it, we've only added ~3,000 miles. Hence why I'm selling. During my pre-purchase inspections, two mechanics said that the car was mechanically in great shape and that it just had normal wear and tear. Since owning the car, I've already dealt with many of those wear-and-tear items during my ownership so you don't have to. - 4 new all-season tires - 4 new rotors and ceramic brake pads - New front sway bar assembly - New radiator with flushed coolant and transmission fluids - New windshield - New exhaust system (previous owner) I also just did a full oil change with a new oil filter, cabin air filter, and engine air filter. All of this should be on carfax according to my mechanic. I also installed an aftermarket Apple Carplay / Android Auto infotainment system that you can see on the photos. Still have the original and can revert. There is one issue that I want to be transparent about. When I bought the car, there was a slight hissing sound in the cabin while driving. At the time, both the mechanics and I thought it came from the rotors and brake pads. It turns out that it's actually coming from the center driveshaft bearing. My mechanic assures me that it's not a high-priority fix, and I tend to agree. It hasn't gotten worse during the time I've owned the car.
