This 2002 Porsche Boxster Base is a two-seat roadster from the early 2000s, presented with a straightforward set of factory equipment and a focus on its original specification. As a mid-engine Porsche, it belongs to a model line known for balanced handling and compact dimensions, and this example is identified as the Base trim. Its design places the emphasis on an open two-passenger cabin, a low seating position, and a chassis intended for responsive road use. The body style is simple and familiar, with proportions that reflect the Boxster's purpose as a dedicated convertible rather than a larger grand touring car. Inside, this Boxster is fitted with Leather Seats. The upholstery choice gives the cabin a more finished presentation compared with basic cloth trim, and it remains consistent with the car's premium positioning at the time. The seating area is arranged for two occupants, and the controls are centered toward the driver in the manner typical of Porsche products from this era. Materials and switchgear follow a restrained approach, with the interior shaped around the driving position rather than decorative elements. Storage space in a car of this type is limited, but the cabin is laid out with the standard priorities of a compact sports roadster. This vehicle also includes Automatic Climate Control. That feature adds convenience for managing cabin temperature without repeated manual adjustment, and it is integrated into the dashboard controls. Side Impact Airbags are present as part of the safety equipment, adding another layer of occupant protection beyond the primary restraints. Those items were important considerations in a car with this kind of performance orientation, and they are part of the equipment list on this example. The inclusion of these features gives a clearer picture of how Porsche equipped the Boxster for everyday use as well as driving on open roads. Fog Lights are also listed on this Porsche. Exterior lighting details like that were common additions for improved visibility in reduced-light conditions, and they fit the car's compact front-end design without altering its basic appearance. The Boxster's shape is defined by short overhangs, a low hood, and a rear deck that houses the engine, all of which are part of the model's established identity. This 2002 example reflects the period accurately, with equipment that is direct and limited to the items provided here. It remains a Porsche roadster with the features noted above and the mechanical character associated with the Boxster nameplate.
