Hybrid Gas/Electric

There is a reason everyone in my family has Prius- it combines that Toyota reliability with the advantages of having a small hybrid. This car has served me loyally for over 10 years and has great gas mileage. I never have to worry about fitting into a small parking spot and the turn radius simply can't be beat. My first car growing up was a 2004 Prius, so I can vouch for them being a great starter car if you are looking for something that is easy to drive and safe. This car averages 30-50 mpg depending on how much a speed demon you are and has a roughly 8 gallon tank. This means that it costs about $40-50 to fill up in California these days but still will not require you to get gas more than once a week for most people. There are some minor flaws- a small dent under the passenger side door, the Bluetooth does not work (can connect via USB instead), and a tire air pressure gauge that needs to be replaced. That being said, there are no major flaws and it drives super well. This car has been recently detailed, all four tires are less than a year old, and the car battery was replaced a little over a year ago. I am honestly going to miss it a lot once I sell it, and am only letting it go because I just don't drive it that often anymore.
