Stock #692 is ready for its next owner. ===== About This 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG C 63 S ===== The AMG C 63 S is not a trim badge Mercedes-Benz hands out lightly. This is the full-fat, no-compromise version of the C 63 lineup the S designation means upgraded brakes, AMG Dynamic Plus suspension, and a power output that eclipses many dedicated sports cars. Finished in black over what is almost certainly a contrasting sport interior, this sedan commands attention without screaming for it. At 52,100 miles, it has been driven, but by no means worn out proper AMG maintenance keeps these vehicles performing at an elite level well into six-figure mileage territory when cared for correctly. ===== 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG C 63 S Performance and Engine ===== ==== The AMG 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 A Hand-Built Masterpiece ==== Every AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 carries a plaque bearing the name of the single AMG technician who assembled it by hand. This is not a marketing gimmick it is a statement of intent. Producing 503 horsepower and a colossal 516 lb-ft of torque, this engine launches the C 63 S to 60 mph in roughly 3.8 seconds, with Mercedes-Benz electronically limiting top speed to 180 mph in S trim. The twin turbos are mounted inside the V of the engine for ultra-compact packaging and near-instant spool-up, delivering thrust that feels immediate and relentless rather than laggy. Paired with Mercedes-Benz's AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed automatic transmission a multi-clutch unit rather than a traditional torque-converter automatic gear changes happen with sharp, sports car precision. Whether you're in Comfort mode for a relaxed cruise down the 405 or in Sport+ for canyon carving through the hills above Orange County, the transmission responds intelligently. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through an AMG-tuned rear-axle differential, giving the C 63 S its signature playful, driver-focused character that front- or all-wheel-drive luxury sedans simply cannot replicate. ===== Mercedes-Benz AMG C 63 S Features and Interior ===== ==== The S Variant Raises the Bar ==== The AMG C 63 S steps significantly above the standard C 63 in ways that matter to driving enthusiasts and luxury buyers alike. Expect AMG sport seats designed to hold you firmly through hard cornering while remaining comfortable on longer highway drives. The cabin blends Mercedes-Benz's trademark premium materials real metal trim, soft-touch surfaces, and meticulous fit-and-finish with AMG-specific design touches like sport pedals, an AMG flat-bottom steering wheel with shift paddles, and exclusive badging throughout. On the technology side, the 2017 C-Class generation brought Mercedes-Benz's COMAND infotainment system with a central display screen, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and a premium Burmester sound system available at this trim level. Driver assistance features including attention assist, collision prevention assist, and active lane keeping systems reflect Mercedes-Benz's commitment to safety even in its performance lineup. ===== Mercedes-Benz AMG C 63 S Reliability and Ownership ===== ==== What Owners and Experts Say ==== The AMG C 63 S built on the W205 C-Class platform introduced for 2015>
