2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T 130k Miles Mechanic Special 2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T with approximately 130,000 miles. Selling as-is because we've decided to replace the vehicle rather than complete the necessary engine repair. The vehicle was professionally diagnosed by a Hyundai dealership. They found very low compression in cylinder #1 due to a burned exhaust valve and recommended a complete engine replacement. An independent mechanic also advised that an engine replacement or used-engine swap would likely be the most practical repair. Important: The dealership disconnected engine components during the diagnostic process and did not reconnect them. The vehicle is currently not operational and will need to be towed at the buyer's expense. This could be a good opportunity for a mechanic, rebuilder, or someone with access to an affordable replacement engine. Selling as-is, with the known engine issue and disconnected components fully disclosed. Hyundai diagnostic documentation is available for serious buyers. Serious inquiries only. Price negotiable.
