The 2021 Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster is the open-air version of Lamborghini s flagship V12 supercar. This car is finished in a matte pearl white exterior with gloss black removable roof panels, black upper body accents and gloss black multi-spoke wheels. The roof panels and dark glass sit sharply against the light matte paint, and the angular lines of the Aventador S read strongly from every direction. At its heart is Lamborghini s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter 60-degree V12, producing 730 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 509 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power reaches all four wheels through a seven-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) automated manual transmission, which shifts in under 50 milliseconds, and an electronically controlled permanent all-wheel-drive system. The Aventador S Roadster reaches 62 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph, matching the Aventador S coupe. The S generation brought a full overhaul of the Aventador s chassis and control systems. Four-wheel steering sharpens agility at low speeds and adds stability at high speeds. Lamborghini Dynamic Steering gives quicker turn-in and responsive feedback, and the pushrod suspension with Lamborghini Magneto-rheological Suspension adjusts damping in real time. Carbon ceramic brakes are standard, and the active rear spoiler moves through three positions based on speed and drive mode. The Strada, Sport, Corsa and EGO drive modes let the driver tailor steering, suspension and traction to the road or the moment. As a Roadster, this car adds lightweight removable roof panels that stow in the front luggage compartment, and a power rear window that lowers at the push of a button to let more of the V12 sound into the interior. Signature scissor doors, Y-shaped LED lighting and the hexagonal center-exit exhaust complete the Aventador S design. The interior pairs black leather with vivid orange-red leather. The seats and door panels have diamond-quilted inserts, the center tunnel is wrapped in orange-red leather, and orange contrast stitching runs across the seats, dashboard and instrument binnacle. The headrests carry an embossed Lamborghini shield. Carbon fiber trims the center console, instrument cluster surround and door sills, and Alcantara lines the underside of the roof panels. *Performance* * 6.5-liter naturally aspirated 60-degree V12 * 730 horsepower at 8,400 rpm * 509 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm * Seven-speed ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) automated manual transmission * Steering-column-mounted paddle shifters * Electronically controlled permanent all-wheel drive * 0 62 mph in 3.0 seconds * Top speed of 217 mph * Four-wheel steering (Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering) * Lamborghini Dynamic Steering with variable steering characteristics * Pushrod suspension with Lamborghini Magneto-rheological Suspension * Carbon ceramic brakes * Active three-position rear spoiler * Strada, Sport, Corsa and EGO drive modes * Engine start button with flip-up red cover *Exterior* * Matte pearl white paint * Gloss black removable roof panels, stowable in the front luggage compartment * Power-retractable rear window * Black windshield surround and upper body accents * Scissor doors * Y-signature LED headlights * Y-signature LED taillights * Hexagonal center-exit exhaust *
