The *2013 Honda Fit Sport Hatchback 4D* is living proof that a small car doesn't have to be boring, cramped, or completely devoid of personality. With its sporty exterior styling, surprisingly spacious interior, excellent fuel economy, and Honda's reputation for dependability, the Fit Sport delivers an impressive amount of practicality in a package small enough to park almost anywhere. It's the kind of car that makes you wonder why so many people need an SUV the size of a suburban home just to transport themselves to work. The Sport trim adds *16-inch alloy wheels, a sporty body kit, rear roof spoiler, fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, steering-wheel audio controls, power windows and locks, and keyless entry*. But the real magic happens inside, where Honda's ingenious *Magic Seat system* allows the rear seats to fold flat or flip upward to accommodate surprisingly tall or bulky items. The Fit has a remarkable talent for swallowing furniture, luggage, bicycles, and questionable impulse purchases that have absolutely no business fitting inside a subcompact hatchback. Powered by Honda's *1.5-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine producing 117 horsepower*, the Fit Sport delivers excellent fuel economy, nimble handling, and a surprisingly entertaining driving experience. It's not particularly fast, but with its responsive steering and lightweight design, it makes ordinary driving more enjoyable than many vehicles with twice the horsepower. The engine also has a refreshing lack of interest in consuming your entire paycheck at the gas station. For buyers considering a Toyota Yaris, Mazda2, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Accent, or Kia Rio, the Honda Fit Sport offers an outstanding combination of reliability, versatility, efficiency, sporty styling, and long-term value.
