A classic midsize pickup with V8 power, four-wheel-drive capability, and a timeless two-tone appearance, this 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab 4x4 is a high-quality original truck that offers practical utility with plenty of vintage truck character. Finished in Hunter Green and Silver with a gray custom cloth interior, this Dakota presents as a clean, well-kept example of Dodge's first-generation midsize pickup. Power comes from the 5.2-liter Magnum V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. With 111,750 miles, this Dakota runs and drives very well and is ready for immediate use. Its three-owner history in the Pacific Northwest adds to its background, while its original character makes it an appealing option for anyone looking for a classic truck that can still serve a practical purpose. The SLT trim provides a comfortable, well-equipped cabin featuring bucket seats, a center console, AM/FM cassette stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power mirrors, and a folding rear seat. The extended cab adds useful interior flexibility, making this truck well suited to everyday driving, weekend projects, or outdoor adventures. Outside, the two-tone Hunter Green and Silver finish gives the Dakota a distinctive period-correct look. Chrome wheels add a bright accent, while the step rear bumper and color-matched topper contribute to its practical appeal. Together, these details create a cohesive presentation that captures the character of a well-equipped 1990s pickup. As the final model year of the first-generation Dakota, this 1996 SLT represents an appealing chapter in Dodge truck history. Its combination of the Magnum V8, four-wheel drive, extended-cab configuration, and clean original presentation makes it an attractive choice for enthusiasts seeking a usable classic pickup without sacrificing everyday practicality. Whether you're searching for a dependable truck for daily duties, a nostalgic addition to your garage, or a well-preserved example of a 1990s Dodge, this Dakota deserves a closer look.
