High-mileage trucks like this Sierra 1500 Denali attract a specific kind of buyer someone who understands that a well-maintained GM V8 can run deep into six-figure territory and beyond. The 6.2-liter engine found in the Denali trim is widely regarded as one of the most durable V8s GM has produced, and many owners report engines lasting well past 300,000 miles with routine maintenance. Stock #J2089 is an opportunity to get into a full-size Crew Cab Denali at a fraction of the cost of a newer equivalent. See the current price listed on this page. ===== 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Performance and Engine ===== ==== 6.2-Liter V8 Flex Fuel Power ==== The 6.2L V8 Flex Fuel engine in this Sierra 1500 Denali was the most powerful engine available in the half-ton segment when this truck rolled off the line. Producing around 403 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque in factory configuration, it paired with a 6-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission with overdrive a combination built for towing, hauling, and long highway miles with ease. The Flex Fuel capability means this truck is compatible with E85 ethanol blends in addition to standard gasoline, giving owners options at the pump depending on local fuel availability. Operating in 2WD, it's optimized for San Diego's mostly dry, pavement-heavy driving conditions, keeping things efficient without the weight penalty of a four-wheel-drive system. The 5 3/4-foot bed on this Crew Cab configuration strikes a practical balance enough cargo space for weekend projects or work gear without sacrificing the interior room a full Crew Cab provides. ===== GMC Sierra Denali Features and Interior ===== ==== What the Denali Trim Brings to the Table ==== The Denali badge has always been GMC's answer to luxury truck buyers who refuse to compromise. In 2013, the Sierra 1500 Denali came loaded with features that were genuinely premium for the era and many still impress today. Expect the foundation of a leather-appointed interior, heated and ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a Bose premium audio system. Technology included a navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, and GMC's IntelliLink infotainment interface. On the outside, the Denali earned its distinction with chrome accents, unique Denali-specific grille badging, and 20-inch chrome-clad wheels. Inside the cab, dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, and rear parking sensors rounded out a feature set that still makes this truck genuinely comfortable for daily use or longer hauls across San Diego County. ===== GMC Sierra 1500 Reliability and Ownership ===== ==== What Owners and Experts Say ==== The GMT900-platform Sierra 1500, which covers the 2 model years, is broadly considered one of the most reliable full-size truck generations GM has produced. The 6.2L L9H V8 engine in particular has earned a loyal following for its longevity when maintained properly. Transmission issues are relatively uncommon on these trucks, and the heavy-duty 6-speed automatic has proven durable under towing loads over hundreds of thousands of miles. Common ownership notes on trucks with this kind of mileage include attention to suspension c>
