With just 43,007 miles on the odometer and all-wheel drive, this is a premium compact SUV that hits the sweet spot between European driving refinement and everyday practicality and it's priced competitively right here in Riverside County. ===== About This 2018 BMW X1 xDrive28i ===== This 2018 BMW X1 xDrive28i arrives in a sleek black exterior finish and carries one of the most attractive mileage figures you'll find in its class. At just over 43,000 miles, this vehicle is well within the range where most major mechanical components are still in their prime. The X1 was redesigned from the ground up for the 2016 model year, and by 2018 BMW had refined the platform into one of the most well-rounded luxury compact SUVs on the market. Whether you're commuting through Riverside or loading up for a weekend trip, this X1 delivers the kind of driving experience that makes every mile count. The xDrive28i is BMW's core all-wheel-drive trim for the X1, offering a balance of performance and feature content that makes it the most popular configuration in the lineup. This isn't a base model dressed up with a fancy badge it's a genuinely capable, well-equipped luxury SUV. ===== 2018 BMW X1 Performance and Engine ===== Under the hood, this X1 xDrive28i is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine producing 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. That torque figure is particularly noteworthy it arrives low in the rev range, meaning strong, responsive acceleration is available the moment you press the accelerator in everyday driving situations, not just when you're pushing the engine hard. Power is routed through BMW's smooth automatic transmission and delivered to all four wheels via the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. BMW's xDrive is a full-time system that continuously monitors traction and distributes torque between the front and rear axles as conditions demand whether that's navigating wet Inland Empire freeways or climbing into the San Bernardino Mountains. The result is confident, composed handling in conditions where a front-wheel-drive vehicle would struggle. Fuel economy is a genuine strength of this turbocharged four-cylinder setup as well, offering real-world efficiency that larger six-cylinder competitors simply can't match. ===== BMW X1 Features and Interior ===== The 2018 X1 xDrive28i was built to feel premium the moment you open the door. The cabin features BMW's driver-focused cockpit design, with a slightly elevated seating position that gives occupants excellent visibility without feeling truck-like. Standard and commonly equipped features on this trim and year include BMW's iDrive infotainment system with a central control dial, Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, and power-adjustable front seats. ==== Cargo and Passenger Space ==== One of the biggest improvements BMW made in the second-generation X1 was interior space. The rear seat is genuinely comfortable for adults, and the cargo area is among the most practical in the luxury compact SUV segment. The rear seats also offer a sliding and reclining function, letting you prioritize passenger legroom or cargo capacity depending on the trip. ===== BMW X1 Reliability and Ownership ===== The second-generation BMW X1 the generation this 2018 model belongs to has earned a notably stronger reliability reputation than earlier X1 variants. The 2.0-liter B48 turbocharged engine used in the xDrive28i is considered one of BMW's most dependable modern engines, shared across multiple platforms and built with longevity in mind when properly maintained. Owner feedback consistently highlights the smooth ride quality, r>
