The 997-generation Porsche 911 GT2 represents one of the most uncompromising road cars of its era, combining the explosive performance of a twin-turbocharged flat-six with rear-wheel drive and a traditional six-speed manual transmission. Producing 530 horsepower from its 3.6-liter engine, the GT2 delivered supercar performance while retaining the unmistakable character and involvement of a classic 911. This example is particularly well optioned, featuring a Black Full Leather interior extensively finished with Guards Red deviated stitching throughout the dashboard, doors, center console, rear side panels, and seats. Additional Guards Red details include the instrument dials and seat belts, while the cabin is further enhanced by a Carbon Multifunction Steering Wheel, Sport Chrono Package, BOSE Surround Sound, illuminated carbon-fiber door entry guards, leather-trimmed steering column, fuse box cover, dome lamp cover, and additional leather interior appointments. Numerous trim elements including the air vent slats, instrument surround, center console, PCM surround, and gear lever trim were specified in exterior color, while black-painted wheels complete the purposeful presentation. Adding another layer of provenance, this GT2 was previously owned by NBA legend Scottie Pippen, giving an already rare and highly desirable Porsche a distinctive ownership history. With its analog driving experience, formidable twin-turbo performance, extensive factory specification, and notable provenance, this 997 GT2 stands out as an exceptional example from one of Porsche's most celebrated generations.
