It didn't take us long to realize that this new 2002 Ford Thunderbird fly's pretty high indeed. The new T-Bird's looks alone were enough to make us a bit light headed. From every angle, it was indeed love a first flight. Thunderbird designers did a masterful job of blending styling cues borrowed from long hood-short deck T- birds of the 50s and 60s into a thoroughly modern driving machine that is instantly recognizable as a Thunderbird. .-Motortrend This 2002 Ford Thunderbird is featured in Torch Red exterior with matching porthole removable hardtop, black power soft top and a coordinating red and black interior. Power is provided by a 3.9-liter 32-value V8 engine paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The Torch red paint has brilliant luster and is accented by aftermarket chrome wheels and chrome wheel arch moldings. The two-tone interior shows well with minimal wear and is accompanied by a host of factory options. In Texas for the previous 20 years the underside and body of this Thunderbird are free of any corrosion. The eleventh and final generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a retro-styled, two-seat luxury cruiser that gives you the feel and look of the famed 1957 Thunderbird but gives you the driving experience of a modern soon to be classic and only showing 43,458 miles on the odometer.
