If you've been searching for a 2012 BMW 3 Series 328i Convertible for sale in Concord, CA, this is the one worth your attention. With its classic rear-wheel-drive dynamics, a smooth inline-six engine, and a retractable hardtop that transforms every drive into an experience, this 328i Convertible represents one of the most satisfying open-air driving opportunities available in the used car market today. Available now at BAHAL MOTORS in Concord, in the heart of Contra Costa County, this E93-generation BMW is ready for its next chapter. ===== About This 2012 BMW 3 Series 328i Convertible ===== At 89,764 miles, this 2012 BMW 328i Convertible sits well within the sweet spot for a pre-owned luxury vehicle. The E93 generation of the 3 Series built between 2007 and 2013 is widely regarded as one of the last truly driver-focused BMWs before the brand shifted toward a more comfort-oriented philosophy. These cars were engineered to last well beyond 150,000 miles with proper maintenance, making this example a genuinely compelling value for buyers who want European performance and open-air style without paying new-car prices. The convertible body style adds a level of versatility you simply don't get from a coupe. The power-retractable hardtop folds away cleanly, offering the refinement of a proper hardtop when closed and the exhilaration of a true convertible when the weather cooperates and in the Concord and Contra Costa County area, that's most of the year. ===== 2012 BMW 3 Series Performance and Engine ===== Under the hood of this 328i sits BMW's legendary 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine a configuration the brand has refined over decades and one that enthusiasts consistently praise for its silky power delivery, linear throttle response, and signature exhaust note. Paired with a six-speed automatic Steptronic transmission, this drivetrain strikes an ideal balance between everyday drivability and genuine driving engagement. The Steptronic gearbox allows you to take manual control of gear selection when you want it, adding a sportier feel without the demands of a true manual clutch. Rear-wheel drive is the traditional BMW setup, and it gives this convertible the kind of balanced, communicative handling that put the 3 Series on the map in the first place. Whether you're navigating the curves of Mount Diablo State Park or cruising the open stretches of Highway 4, this car rewards an engaged driver. ===== BMW 3 Series Features and Interior ===== The 328i Convertible trim brings with it a well-appointed interior designed around the driver. Expect features consistent with this generation, including BMW's iDrive infotainment system, automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and a premium audio setup. The cabin quality from the instrument cluster layout to the leather-wrapped steering wheel reflects the premium standards BMW was known for in this era. With the hardtop raised, wind and road noise are impressively subdued, making this convertible genuinely usable as an everyday vehicle. The rear seats offer more usability than you'd expect from a convertible in this class, and the trunk, while compact, is practical enough for weekend trips up through Napa Valley or along the Marin coast. ===== BMW 3 Series Reliability and Ownership ===== The E93 328i has earned a strong reputation among BMW enthusiasts for long-term dependability when properly maintained. The N52 inline-six engine used in this model year is considered one of BMW's most reliable modern engines less complex than the turbocharged units that followed and well-understood by independent shops and BMW specialists alike. Prospective buyers should, as with any used BMW, verify maintenance history and check for common items like cooling system components, valve cover gaskets, and the condition of the convertible top mechanism.
