If you're searching for a reliable, fuel-efficient hybrid in the Central Valley, this 2017 Toyota Prius Two Hatchback for sale at T & D Auto Group in Fresno, California is well worth your attention. With over 122,000 miles on the odometer, this Prius has proven exactly what Toyota's flagship hybrid is built to do cover serious ground while sipping fuel and keeping its owner on the road. Whether you're commuting across Fresno or making regular runs throughout the region, this practical hatchback delivers real-world value day after day. ===== About This 2017 Toyota Prius Two Hatchback ===== The 2017 Toyota Prius is one of the most recognizable and trusted hybrids ever built, and this example represents a generation of Prius that received major praise for its significantly improved efficiency and driving dynamics. The fourth-generation Prius which this 2017 model represents introduced a lower, sleeker silhouette, a more rigid chassis, and a notably improved suspension over its predecessor, making it far more engaging to drive than the Prius models of years past. At 122,003 miles, this vehicle sits in a range that many hybrid buyers are rightfully comfortable with. The Prius has a well-documented track record of high-mileage longevity, and 122,000 miles on a well-maintained example is far from the end of the road. Hybrid battery packs on this generation of Prius have routinely lasted 150,000 to 200,000 miles or more, giving buyers genuine confidence when purchasing at this mileage level. ===== 2017 Toyota Prius Performance and Engine ===== Under the hood, this 2017 Prius Two is powered by Toyota's proven 1.8-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain paired with an Electric CVT (ECVT) transmission and front-wheel drive. The Synergy Drive system seamlessly blends power from the gasoline engine and the electric motor, delivering smooth, near-silent acceleration from a standstill exactly the kind of driving experience that makes the Prius so appealing in stop-and-go Fresno traffic. The ECVT is one of Toyota's most refined transmission systems, with no traditional gear shifts, no clutch wear, and minimal mechanical complexity compared to conventional automatic transmissions. This translates directly to lower long-term maintenance costs and a consistently smooth driving feel. Real-world fuel economy on this generation Prius regularly exceeds 50 MPG in combined driving, making it one of the most cost-effective vehicles you can own for daily commuting anywhere in Fresno County. ===== Toyota Prius Two Features and Interior ===== The Prius Two trim is the entry point into the Prius lineup, but Toyota packed it with a solid set of features that make everyday driving genuinely comfortable and connected. Expect a 7-inch Toyota Entune infotainment touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls and audio streaming, a backup camera, and a multi-information display that shows real-time energy flow a feature Prius drivers often find surprisingly engaging and useful for maximizing efficiency. Inside, the Prius Two offers a spacious, well-organized cabin with Toyota's signature dual-level center console, a wide rear cargo area accessed through the hatchback, and comfortable seating for up to five passengers. The elevated seating position and large rear glass give the interior a surprisingly airy feel, and the hatchback configuration makes it one of the more practical choices in the hybrid segment for buyers who need real cargo flexibility. ===== Toyota Prius Reliability and Ownership ===== The Toyota Prius has one of the strongest reliability reputations of any vehicle in automotive history. Toyota designed the hybrid drivetrain to be exceptionally durable, and real-world data backs this up Prius taxis, rideshare vehicles, and fleet cars routinely exceed 250,000 miles with only routine maintenance.
