POWERFUL, ATHLETIC, REFINED, WELL-MAINTAINED, NO-ACCIDENT, LOCALLY OWNED, NONSMOKER, SPORT-SEDAN EXCITEMENT! The 2017 Nissan Maxima 3.5 S brings together muscular V6 performance, distinctive styling, and an impressively upscale driving experience in a sedan that refuses to blend into the crowd. Finished in sleek Super Black with 97,588 miles, this Maxima offers an appealing combination of performance and everyday practicality, backed by a NO-ACCIDENT history, local South Jersey ownership, and an extensive maintenance record with 20 reported service-history entries. Beneath its sculpted hood sits Nissan's celebrated 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering an impressive 300 horsepower and the kind of smooth, confident acceleration that makes highway merging and passing genuinely satisfying. Its low, wide stance, striking floating-roof design, and driver-focused cockpit give the Maxima a personality that's considerably more engaging than the typical family sedan. Even the S trim is remarkably well-equipped, featuring factory navigation, Apple CarPlay, Remote Engine Start, dual-zone automatic climate control, power front seats, and attractive 18'' aluminum-alloy wheels. Add its history of regular maintenance, including recently replaced spark plugs, and this Maxima becomes an especially compelling choice for someone who appreciates a sophisticated sedan with genuine performance credentials. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL For decades, the Nissan Maxima has occupied a distinctive position in the automotive marketplace. While conventional family sedans emphasize transportation first, the Maxima has always aimed to deliver something more engaging -- a combination of sports-sedan performance, premium comfort, and expressive styling that makes everyday driving feel special. The eighth-generation Maxima, introduced for 2016, brought a dramatic transformation to the nameplate. Nissan redesigned its flagship sedan around a stronger, lighter platform, a powerful naturally aspirated V6, and a sophisticated interior inspired by the focused atmosphere of a performance-car cockpit. The result was a sedan that looked more athletic, felt more refined, and offered an unusually rich collection of technology for its class. Unlike many modern sedans that rely on smaller turbocharged engines, the Maxima delivers its performance through a traditional 3.5-liter V6. Drivers appreciate the engine's smooth power delivery, confident highway passing ability, and satisfying character. Its 300 horsepower gives it considerably more muscle than most conventional four-cylinder family sedans. The Maxima also balances its performance with genuine everyday comfort. Supportive seating, thoughtful sound insulation, a well-organized dashboard, and a composed highway ride make it equally suitable for commuting and extended road trips. Compared with vehicles such as the Toyota Avalon, Kia Cadenza, and Chevrolet Impala, the Maxima distinguishes itself through more aggressive styling and an unmistakably driver-oriented personality. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION The Maxima's eighth-generation redesign attracted significant attention from automotive journalists, particularly for its powerful V6 engine, bold exterior design, and unusually sophisticated interior. Car and Driver highlighted its muscular powertrain and upscale cabin, while Edmunds praised its composed handling and stronger driving dynamics compared with many traditional family sedans. The redesigned Maxima also earned several major industry honors during its 2016 introduction year, recognizing the same generation, engine architecture, and interior design carried into this 2017 model. - 2016 Wards 10 Best Engines Nissan's redesigned 3.5-liter VQ-series V6 earned recognition for its impressive power delivery, responsiveness, refinement, and efficiency. - 2016 Wards 10 Best Interiors WardsAuto recognized the Maxima's sophisticated cockpi>
