T & D Auto Group has this fuel-efficient, low-mileage hybrid ready for a test drive, and it checks every box for buyers who want reliability, impressive gas mileage, and a proven ownership experience all in one practical four-door hatchback package. ===== About This 2022 Toyota Prius LE Hatchback ===== At just 43,000 miles, this 2022 Toyota Prius LE is still well within its prime years. For a hybrid like the Prius, 43,000 miles represents a vehicle that has barely been broken in Toyota's hybrid battery system is engineered to last well beyond 150,000 miles, and the engine itself benefits from reduced wear because the electric motor shares the workload at lower speeds. This is exactly the kind of used hybrid that makes financial sense: enough miles to be priced attractively, but well under the threshold where you need to think about major maintenance. The Prius LE trim is Toyota's gateway into the Prius lineup, delivering everything most buyers need without unnecessary extras padding the price. ===== 2022 Toyota Prius Performance and Engine ===== The 2022 Prius LE is powered by Toyota's well-regarded 1.8-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT). This hybrid system works seamlessly drawing on electric power during city driving and low-speed acceleration, then engaging the gasoline engine for highway cruising and higher-demand situations. The result is a combined fuel economy that consistently ranks among the best of any non-plug-in vehicle on the road. Front-wheel drive keeps things simple and cost-effective when it comes to maintenance, and the ECVT delivers smooth, uninterrupted power delivery that makes stop-and-go Fresno traffic far less of a chore. The regenerative braking system recaptures energy every time you slow down, feeding it back into the battery which means your fuel savings compound in real-world city driving conditions. ===== Toyota Prius LE Features and Interior ===== ==== Technology and Infotainment ==== The 2022 Prius LE comes standard with Toyota's 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and Bluetooth connectivity keeping you connected without the complexity of an overloaded tech stack. The interior is thoughtfully designed with a focus on space efficiency, offering a surprisingly roomy cabin for a vehicle of its footprint, plus a versatile rear hatch that opens up genuine cargo utility. ==== Safety Features ==== Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 comes standard on the 2022 Prius LE, and it's one of the most comprehensive driver-assistance packages available in this class. It includes pre-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, and radar cruise control. These aren't optional upgrades they come built in, making every mile safer whether you're on Highway 99 or navigating surface streets in the Tower District. ===== Toyota Prius Reliability and Ownership ===== The Toyota Prius has one of the strongest reliability reputations in the automotive industry full stop. J.D. Power, Consumer Reports, and long-term owner surveys consistently place the Prius at or near the top for dependability. The hybrid battery, which is often the concern buyers raise, has proven remarkably durable in real-world use, with many original batteries surpassing 200,000 miles in taxi and rideshare fleets operating under far more demanding conditions than typical personal use. Ownership costs are genuinely low. Fuel savings alone can amount to thousands of dollars per year compared to a conventional gasoline vehicle. Add in reduced brake wear thanks to regenerative braking, no need f>
