The 2017 Dodge Durango R/T, with 99,996 miles, represents a remarkably well-seasoned example of American muscle SUV excellence, offering an irresistible blend of thunderous HEMI performance, genuine three-row versatility, and aggressive, head-turning styling that has proven its durability through nearly 100,000 miles of real-world driving. Under the hood, the iconic 5.7-liter HEMI V8 produces 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, delivering effortless acceleration and a deep, guttural exhaust note that reminds you with every press of the pedal that this is no ordinary family hauler, while its robust towing capacity of 7,400 pounds makes it equally adept at hauling boats, campers, or weekend toys. At this significant mileage milestone, the vehicle has been thoroughly broken in and has demonstrated its mechanical fortitude, meaning its responsive eight-speed automatic transmission, performance-tuned suspension, and available all-wheel-drive system have matured into a perfectly synchronized driving experience that delivers both spirited back-road handling and serene highway cruising with remarkable composure for an SUV of its size. The spacious, thoughtfully appointed cabin accommodates up to seven passengers across three rows, featuring premium upholstery, heated front seats, a user-friendly Uconnect infotainment system with a large touchscreen, and a cavernous 84.5 cubic feet of cargo space when the rear seats are folded making it the ultimate do-anything vehicle for families, adventurers, and enthusiasts alike. Approaching 100,000 miles, this Durango has likely enjoyed a maintenance history characterized by highway commuting and long-distance family travel conditions that are significantly gentler on brakes, transmission, and engine components than harsh urban stop-and-go driving presenting an exceptional value proposition where the steepest depreciation has already occurred. For the discerning buyer who demands SUV practicality without sacrificing the raw, soul-stirring thrill of American muscle, this Durango R/T delivers an unmatched ownership experience that proves true performance, like fine craftsmanship, only gets better with age and miles.
