ATHLETIC, POWERFUL, M SPORT, TWIN-TURBO V8, LOCALLY OWNED, PURE DRIVING JOY! The BMW 550i xDrive is one of the best-loved sport sedans of its era, and this 2016 example has the M Sport look to match its performance. Under the hood is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 445 horsepower. The car has been locally owned and has a long record of BMW dealer service. It's finished in Space Gray Metallic over a black leather interior with contrast stitching, dark wood trim and chrome accents. The power moonroof brightens the cabin. Signature 19'' M double-spoke wheels and the M aerodynamic body kit make it look as serious as it drives. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THE BMW 550i xDRIVE Shoppers choose the 550i xDrive because it combines V8 performance, all-weather traction and executive-class comfort in one sedan. It reaches 60 mph in about 4.3 seconds, yet it settles into a quiet, relaxed cruise on the highway. The 5 Series has long been a favorite because it fits so many roles: a commuter, a road-trip car and a weekend driver's car. The 550i xDrive is the top of the regular lineup, with the most power and the most confident all-season grip. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION For decades the BMW 5 Series has been a benchmark in the midsize luxury sport sedan class. Reviewers consistently praise how it balances comfort and handling. The 550i in particular earned praise for its smooth, muscular twin-turbo V8 and strong acceleration. Its xDrive all-wheel drive is valued for its year-round composure in Northeast weather. WARRANTY This 550i xDrive currently shows 81,673 miles on the odometer. Measured from an estimated in-service date of July 2016, it has averaged roughly 8,000 miles per year. That's well below the typical driver and a big reason it still drives so confidently. It was previously sold as a BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Since then it has more than two dozen service records, much of that care at BMW dealers, along with regular oil changes. Its original factory coverage has expired. Extended service plans may be available for buyers who want added peace of mind. STANDARD FEATURES The 550i xDrive comes generously equipped. Standard equipment includes the twin-turbo V8, an 8-speed automatic, xDrive all-wheel drive, leather upholstery, a power moonroof, and automatic dual-zone climate control with rear vents. It also includes navigation on a wide 10.2'' display controlled by iDrive, a power trunk lid, and LED fog lights and taillights. INSTALLED OPTIONS M Sport Package The M Sport Package gives the 550i a more aggressive, performance-focused personality: M aerodynamic body kit with sculpted front and rear bumpers 19'' M double-spoke alloy wheels Thick-rimmed M Sport leather steering wheel with shift paddles M-specific design details inside and out It's the look most enthusiasts want on a 5 Series, and it suits the V8 underneath. MECHANICAL FEATURES The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 445 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, so passing and merging take almost no effort. Shifting goes through a quick, smooth 8-speed Steptronic automatic, and the steering wheel paddles give you manual control when you want it. xDrive all-wheel drive constantly adjusts power between the front and rear axles. It adds traction in rain and snow but still keeps BMW's rear-biased feel. Driving Experience Control lets you choose ECO PRO, COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+ modes, which change throttle response, shift timing and steering feel. Auto Start-Stop and Auto Hold make stop-and-go traffic smoother. EXTERIOR Space Gray Metallic shows off the 5 Series' long hood and clean, elegant lines. The M aerodynamic kit gives it a lower, wider stance, and the 19'' M double-spoke wheels fill the wheel arches with real presence. Up front, BMW's signature kidney grille and ringed headlights make it unmistakable. The power moonroof brings in fresh air and sunlight, the LED fog lights help in poor weather, and the power t>
