On paper, it beats the Tesla Model S at its own game with up to 1,111 horsepower, up to 520 miles of range, and tons of high-end tech features, all at a similar price point.
In fact, in a business move that’s similar to Tesla’s escalating price tag for the Model S, Lucid recently announced a significant price increase for the Air sedan. The prices listed here reflect those recent increases.
The Lucid Air has a diverse model range, so you can choose the level of luxury, range, and performance that best fits your budget.
The Lucid Air still qualifies for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit as of this writing. State and local incentives can drive the price down further depending on where you live. Since these incentives vary and are always subject to change, the pricing data below is based on the full MSRP.

2022 Lucid Air Pure (starting at $77,400)
The 2022 Lucid Air Pure starts at $77,400.
The Lucid Air Pure is very well-equipped for a base trim. It uses a rear-mounted electric motor powering the rear wheels with 480 hp and a projected range of up to 406 miles. A dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup is optional.
Standard features include 19-inch wheels, PurLuxe synthetic leather upholstery, a 34-inch, 5K glass cockpit display, a retractable, tablet-like Pilot Panel infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa voice assistant, and over-the-air software updates.
The DreamDrive driver assistance system comes standard on every Lucid Air. This sophisticated system includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, full-speed adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, autonomous parking assist, and more.

2022 Lucid Air Pure includes:

2022 Lucid Air Touring (starting at $95,000)
The 2022 Lucid Air Touring starts at $95,000.
The Touring trim turns up the luxury, style, and performance of the Lucid Air, though the starting MSRP gets near the $100,000 mark. The biggest upgrade is a standard dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain. It produces 620 hp and has an estimated range of 406 miles. It achieves a 0-60 mph time of just 3.2 seconds.
A few other upgrades include standard 20-inch Aero Lite wheels, a selection of premium natural grain leather interiors with natural wood trim, and an available glass canopy roof. The tech features are mostly the same as the Pure model. The main draws of the Touring model are the upgrades in performance and interior materials.

2022 Lucid Air Touring includes:
- Premium interior — The Touring trim upgrades interior materials with a selection of premium natural grain leathers and genuine wood trim.
- 620 horsepower — This is a significant performance boost compared to the base trim. It sprints from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds while retaining a range of 400+ miles.
- All-wheel drive — This is the lowest trim of the Lucid Air, where a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive electric powertrain comes standard.
2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring (starting at $139,000)
The 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring starts at $139,000.
The Ground Touring trim brings the Lucid Air to the next level of power and prestige. For starters, it comes with an upgrade in range and performance with up to 516 miles of range on a full charge and up to a whopping 800 hp. The result is a 0-60 mph time in three seconds flat. All-wheel drive still comes standard, and Lucid rates its top speed at 168 mph.
Additional standard features include 21-inch Aero Blade wheels, a glass canopy roof, a Nappa full-grain leather interior with wood trim and Alcantara inserts, and a Surreal Sound System.
The Grand Touring trim introduces the DreamDrive Pro driver assistance system. This includes hardware like lidar ready for semi-autonomous driving functionality with over-the-air updates. Lucid expects this system to be ready sometime in the next three years. Until then, you still get the benefits of the standard DreamDrive system.

2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring includes:

2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance (starting at $179,000)
As of this writing, reservations are closed for the Dream Edition of the Lucid Air. However, Lucid can put you on a waitlist if a spot becomes available for this exclusive EV. If that doesn’t happen, you’ll have to settle for the Grand Touring Performance model.
Settling is the operative word with a luxury EV that develops 1,050 horsepower and 921 lb-ft of torque. That’s only 61 horsepower shy of what the limited-edition Dream variant offers.
Similar to the Dream Edition, the Grand Touring Performance is loaded with about everything you can add to a Lucid sedan. This includes a panoramic glass roof, front seats with a massage function, DreamDrive Pro, DC fast charging, and quad-zone climate control.
