The 2023 Lincoln Corsair delivers full-size Lincoln luxury in a compact SUV perfect for empty-nesters or city dwellers. Its compact size makes it easy to slip in and out of crowded traffic situations, while its available hybrid engine goes easy on gas.
The Corsair wears the new face of Lincoln, flaunting an elongated grille and expressive wheel designs. The Corsair’s interior is attractive in a minimalist way. Still, it lacks the visual pop of larger Lincoln SUVs, not to mention competitors like the Acura RDX, Genesis GV70, Lexus NX, and Mercedes-Benz GLA. A better matchup might be the Cadillac XT4, although the Corsair bests it in features, power, and fuel economy.
In its favor, the Corsair offers three well-defined and competitively priced trims. The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged engine pumps out 250 horsepower, fitted to a front-wheel-drive (FWD) or an all-wheel-drive (AWD) platform with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Opt for the top-line Grand Touring, and you’ll get a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and continuously variable automatic transmission paired with two electric motors tallying a combined output of 266 hp. This greener Corsair is a plug-in hybrid, meaning it can travel up to 28 miles solely on electric power.
2023 Lincoln Corsair Standard: $38,690 (FWD), $40,990 (AWD)
The base Corsair is the sales leader. The sub-$40,000 price helps explain its popularity, but we think there’s another reason: options. Where most Corsair competitors reserve their best upgrades for more expensive models, Lincoln offers a surprising number of packages on the base trim, allowing the kind of personalization that was commonplace when buying a car. We’re happy to see it make a return.
The Corsair starts with Lincoln’s newest Co-Pilot360 2.1 driver assist suite. Included are forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and evasive steering assist.
Also included are automatic high-beam headlights, a blind-spot monitor for trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert with braking, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with stop/go and speed sign recognition.
The Corsair comes outfitted with 18-inch alloy wheels, an acoustic laminated windshield, rear privacy glass, a power liftgate, auto-folding heated side mirrors, and a capless fuel filler neck.
Lincoln Embrace comes standard and features LED headlights, illuminated door handle pockets, and approach lighting.
Intelligent Access keyless entry means you’ll never have to remove the key fob from your purse or pocket. Touch the door handle to unlock the doors and push a button to start the engine. Lincoln’s SecuriCode keypad offers another way to open the vehicle; it’s a lighted keypad in the door’s pillar that accepts a 6-digit code.
The Corsair’s cabin is equally abundant and includes amenities such as a 10-way power driver’s seat and an 8-way power passenger seat, with power lumbar support and multilevel heating. The driver’s seat also features memory for the seat and mirrors, while the reclining 60/40 rear seats slide fore and aft.
Lincoln’s Soft Touch synthetic leather covers the seat, with genuine leather on the manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel.
The Corsair features dual-zone automatic climate control with pollen and particulate filter, windows that can be opened or closed remotely with the key fob, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and two illuminated USB front console charge ports (one Type-A and one Type-C).
There’s also a rear seat USB-A charge port and two 12-volt outlets, one in the front console and one in the cargo bay.
A 10-speaker Lincoln Premium audio system oversees music delivery, which can stream from your phone via wired Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The SYNC 4 infotainment system includes an AM/FM/MP3 receiver, SiriusXM satellite radio, voice-activated navigation, and access to Lincoln Connect apps. Accessing these features is easy, thanks to the 13.2-inch color touchscreen sitting prominently atop the dash.
Active Noise Control uses the car’s speakers to counteract those annoying noise frequencies that can creep into the cabin.
Moving to options, Corsair buyers can choose the Collection II package. It includes a hands-free power liftgate, rain-sensing wipers with de-icers, heated and ventilated front seats, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror with a remote garage door opener, and a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel.
Also included is a 60/40 EasyFold rear seat with a power seatback release, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, and 18-inch dark tarnish finish alloy wheels. Rounding out the Collection II package is an app that turns your phone into a key, and Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.1 Vision, which features a 360-degree camera monitor, reverse brake assist, and side parking sensors.
The Collection III package builds off the above features with a panoramic Vista Roof moonroof with power sunshade, Auto Air Refresh climate control, heated rear seats, a 14-speaker Revel audio system, a head-up display, Active Park Assist self-parking aid, an enhanced intersection assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection, a driver monitor, and Co-Pilot360 2.1 Drive.
The Co-Pilot Drive system includes ActiveGlide 1.2, a fully autonomous self-driving mode for use on select highways covering over 130,000 miles nationwide.
Standalone options vary with package choices. The Jet Appearance package includes 20-inch black alloy wheels and blackout trim, the Panoramic Vista Roof power moonroof, and a tow package.
With the $1,195 destination charge, the 2023 Lincoln Corsair costs $39,885. On a 60-month loan at 3% financing and zero down, the monthly payment comes to about $717. See 2023 Lincoln Corsair Standard models for sale near you

2023 Lincoln Corsair Reserve: $43,075 (FWD), $45,375 (AWD)

Moving to the Reserve brings leather upholstery, LED signature taillights (fade on/off), jeweled adaptive LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and premium ambient interior lighting.
The Reserve’s option packages mirror those of the base Corsair, except for the Collection III package, which gains an adaptive suspension.

- Available Revel audio – The Corsair’s optional Revel audio system features 14 speakers, including a dash-mounted center speaker and powered rear subwoofer for dynamic music reproduction.
2023 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring: $53,385
The Grand Touring comes standard with AWD and a plug-in hybrid powertrain, making it the most fuel-efficient of the three trims. Charging the battery takes about three to four hours using a 240-volt Level 2 charger. When running on battery power alone, the Grand Touring can travel about 28 miles before the gas engine kicks in.
Building off the Reserve trim, the Grand Touring adds the Panoramic Vista Roof power moonroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, upgraded soft door trim, adaptive suspension, and an EV pedestrian sounder that makes noise when in electric mode so pedestrians and cyclists can hear you coming.
The Grand Touring’s Collection II and III packages and standalone options mirror those from the Reserve.
With the $1,195 destination charge, the 2023 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring costs $54,580. On a 60-month loan at 3% financing and zero down, the monthly payment comes to about $981. See 2023 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring models for sale near you
