Polestar has only been selling its electric vehicles in the United States since 2020, which is why only two models are listed as eligible. It was created in 2017 from a partnership between the automakers Volvo and Geely. Now, the good news is that Certified by Polestar cars come with a 2-year warranty that extends beyond the original warranty, which covers the first four years or 50,000 miles of ownership. The extended warranty is transferable, provided the original owner followed the Polestar service plan. So, if you find a certified pre-owned Polestar, chances are it is still under its original warranty. The electric battery has an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty.
