Unlike most automakers, Toyota doesn’t shy away from calling the vehicles in its certified pre-owned program “used,” but that doesn’t mean any less attention is paid to what the Toyota Certified Used Vehicles (TCUV) program has had to offer since 1996.

Certified Used Hybrids

Hybrid-Related Components Warranty: 8 years or 100,000 miles from new-car sales date; fuel-cell vehicles carry similar coverage on fuel-cell-related components
Hybrid Battery Warranty: 10 years or 150,000 from the date of the new-car sale; older hybrids carry an 8-year/100,000-mile Factory Hybrid Vehicle Battery Warranty from the original date of sale
