Dodge says the design of 2011 Dodge Charger R/T is heavily inspired by the classic, second-generation Charger of the late 1960s, with an aggressive “split crosshair” face, muscular bodyside scallops and an all-new signature tail lamp design with164 LEDs.

The four-door Charger R/T is equipped with 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine and a four-cylinder mode with Fuel Saver Technology that delivers 370 horses and 0-to-60 in less than six seconds.

An all-wheel-drive version has been added; the system will automatically disconnect the front axle to maximize fuel economy when not needed.

Dodge's flagship muscle car has an all-new interior with premium materials, including a leather-wrapped, three-spoke steering wheel.

The Charger R/T, in dealerships now, comes in three lifestyle packages: the R/T Plus, R/T Road & Track and R/T Max. The MSRP starts at $35,995 and goes up to $38,145, including the $825 destination fees.

The 2011 Challenger R/T coupe is also already on sale, starting with an MSRP of $30,495.

Meanwhile, the automaker's new 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible made its global debut at the Chicago show, about a month earlier than expected. Chrysler had earlier revealed photos and pricing details, so it was a matter of seeing the car in person. It's better looking than the mid-size Sebring it will replace and will be available with either the 2.4-liter I4 World Gas Engine or the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine.

The 200 Convertible will be available in this country with three different packages: the Touring, Limited and S. The car goes on sale this spring, starts at $27,195.
