Ford’s certified pre-owned program offers an extra year of bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage, along with an enticing 7 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain protection from the original sale date. In January, Ford’s CPO program is even more alluring than usual thanks to strong incentives for qualified shoppers interested in financing a certified pre-owned model. Through the end of the month, Ford is offering 1.9 percent interest for up to 36 months, 2.9 percent for 60 months and 3.9 percent for 72 months on all CPO models — a good deal for used vehicles, especially with Ford’s reassuring warranty.

Volvo’s certified pre-owned program is among the best in the industry, offering an excellent warranty that covers vehicles for up to 7 years or 100,000 miles from the original sale date. In January, Volvo is offering another strong incentive for shoppers to consider its CPO program: Through the end of the month, Volvo is boasting 0 percent interest for up to 24 months on all certified pre-owned 2015 S60 models. While that’s a rather specific offer (down to one model year), it’s also a good deal for an excellent used vehicle if you happen to be in the market for a luxury sedan like the S60.
