Hyundai Elantra GT

The Hyundai Elantra GT is a practical 5-door hatchback version of Hyundai’s popular Elantra compact car. In January, the Elantra GT is available with several enticing incentives, especially for shoppers interested in a 2014 model. For qualified shoppers who don’t mind last year’s model, interest rates on a 2014 Elantra GT start from just 0 percent for 60 months, or 0.9 percent for 72 months. Hyundai is also offering an impressive $1,500 cash back on all 2014 Elantra GT models. Lease rates start from $189 per month for 36 months after $2,799 down at lease signing, or $10 per month more if you’d prefer a 2015 model.

Mazda3

The popular Mazda3 hatchback features handsome styling, a sporty driving experience and a long list of available gadgets and features. In January, the 2014 Mazda3 also features some excellent deals for shoppers interested in getting a new hatchback at a great price. The best deal is for qualified shoppers looking to finance. Mazda is offering 0 percent interest for up to 36 months, plus no payments for up to 90 days. For shoppers who would rather lease, Mazda is offering a 39-month term with payments from $189 per month after $1,999 down at lease signing.

Nissan Versa Note

The Nissan Versa Note is a tiny subcompact hatchback with five doors and a surprisingly roomy interior. In January, the 2015 Versa Note is offered with incentives for shoppers looking to lease, finance or pay with cash. For cash buyers, Nissan is touting up to $500 back on all 2015 Versa Note models. For qualified drivers looking to finance, Nissan is offering 0 percent interest for up to 36 months on the Versa Note. Finally, lease shoppers can get a 36-month term with payments from $159 per month after $1,999 down at lease signing.

Subaru Impreza

Regardless of whether they call it a wagon or a hatchback, everyone who drives the newly redesigned 5-door Subaru Impreza agrees that it’s a practical, capable vehicle that offers impressive reliability. In January, it’s also offered with some excellent incentives whether you’re looking to lease or finance. For qualified drivers interested in financing, the best deal is a leftover 2014 Impreza, which is available with 0.9 percent interest for up to 36 months. Drivers who would rather get a 2015 model will have to settle for 2.9 percent interest over the same term. Meanwhile, shoppers interested in leasing a 2014 Impreza hatchback can get payments from $159 per month for 36 months after $1,959 down at lease signing, or $169 per month with the same down payment if they’d rather have a 2015 model.
