Our latest video is taking a look at what Nissan has to offer in the ever-changing world of the in-car infotainment system. Dubbed NissanConnect, Nissan’s system brings in-car navigation, entertainment and hands-free communication together through your smartphone.
By pairing Nissan’s infotainment system with your smartphone, you can enjoy the functionality of advanced turn-by-turn navigation services and the convenience of your favorite apps via voice command or touchscreen, making the feature a great way to stay connected on the go. But not every Nissan includes a version of the system, so we suggest checking with your dealer to find out if you can get it in the model you’re most interested in.
Nissan offers three different versions of the system. The basic package, dubbed NissanConnect with Mobile Apps, includes SiriusXM satellite radio and popular apps including Facebook and Pandora. Next up is NissanConnect with Navigation, which adds a color touchscreen with guided voice direction, along with navigation, weather information and traffic updates. Topping the range is NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps, which adds apps such as movie listings, Twitter and Google points of interest. Regardless of which version you get, we like that the feature is free for the first three years — and that it also comes with a free-trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio.
